On work permit that will expire in January 2021. Don't know if I would need to apply for BOWP since biometrics was submitted September 30th. Just hoping to get COPR so no need to pay anymore fees

I'd wait.....even after you apply for a BOWP, it will be a while before you get a response about that. No sense rushing to do it now. I say if you haven't heard anything by end of November, then apply

Hi, I applied for EE under FSW. I didn't provide employment letter, instead provided a LOE saying that and all the paystubs and tax statements for 3 years as proof of income. I requested GCMS notes and it says that they couldn't verify my work experience and eligibility is not met. Can you help how to overcome this issue ? Should we definitely provide employment letter ? Please let me know if anyone faced this situation and suggest ? Does providing the previous documents again through webform help ?

I believe you have to provide the employment letter even if not all required information are included in the letter. U can write LoE why such information could not provided but without an Employment Letter i dont think they accept

Tax return and paystubs don't have all the required info that they are asking for. Yes they are a proof of your hours but you will definitely need more documentation. I saw a few previous posts where people submitted the employment letters from their coworkers to show their job duties. Also, submit your hiring letter. They should have details like your job location and designation. I also suggest submitting cic a proof that your employer refused to provide the employment letter like email conversation between you and them (if that is the case).

And no it is not gonna be any help if you are thinking of submitting the same documentation through webform. Instead GET AN EMPLOYMENT LETTER with proper format if you can. In the worst case try to gather all the documents you can to prove your hours, job title, duties, pay, work location etc. And then send them to IRCC as soon as possible.

Guys, this is a wierd one, but any opinion is appreciated. @legalfalcon @caipsnotes . I am just worried about the impact this travel exemption request would have on my Express entry application. Here's my story.

I currently have a Valid TRV. I also have an Express entry application in progress (AOR-19th March), waiting for officer approval of eligibility. I am now planning to apply for travel exemption, using my TRV to see my girlfriend who currently resides in Montreal. My girlfriend is a Canadian Citizen, we met in Australia (mid-2017) and stayed in a long-distance relationship when she went back to Canada. Things fell apart eventually (mid-2018) and we went our separate ways. We started talking in January this year and we were planning to get back together, but corona happened.

She was the reason I applied for express entry.

My question is,

If I applied for travel exemption as being in an exclusive dating relationship using "application for authorization and statutory declaration (IMM 0006)", will this have a negative effect on my Express Entry application?

Please note, I have not mentioned any of these in my Express entry application. We are just trying to get together and start our lives soon. If this doesn't work, as a last resort, we will move to some other country that will accommodate us!

Please note I have more than enough funds for 6 months in Canada and I am already a Permanent resident of Australia.

Thanks for the assistance.

It will have no impact since you are not in a common law relationship and therefore you did not have to declare this in your EE application. If you meet the requirements of the recent travel exemptions, you can go ahead and apply.

It means someone opened your file and updated the information. Given that security was in process, it must be related to that.
