eAPR personal checklist, questionnaire didn't prompt a field to upload police certificate of home country?

As title suggested,
After I have filled out the questionnaires, I clicked continue and that brought me to the document upload page.
I noticed under the police certificate sections, there are two fields where I can upload the police certificates of the countries of education.
However, there isn't a spot where I can upload the PCC of my home country. Does anyone know if this is a bug? Or did I answer something wrong in the questionnaire?

edit:
UK education from 2011-2014
Home between OCT 2014 - AUG 2019
NL education from AUG 2019 - Sep 2020
Home from Sep 2020 til now

You probably did something wrong when filling in the address history. If you are sure you didn't, you can also combine more than one PCC into one file with an LOE. Or attach the PCC from your home country to the LOE of your application.
I trialed and error with the system, I even put Hong Kong (home country) in the travel history + address history, but still didn’t prompt a placeholder in the upload section.
problem with HK PCC is that, I cannot apply for it without first submitting my eAPR. So I am a little concerned. But I guess what I will do now is I’ll upload an LOE to request an IRCC letter and also let the officer know that a hk PCC is required but the system is bugged.

Hi~ We are also at the stage of submitting documents and we live in HK too. In the questionnaire, did you claim that you had been living in HK for over 6 months in the past 10 yrs/since you're 18? If the period is less than 6 months, perhaps the system will not automatically generate a placeholder for you to upload your HK record.

Under my personal history and work history, I have indicated that I worked in HK between 2014 and 2019, no breaks.
Likewise, under my address history, I have also included my HK address from 2014-2019.
I wonder what went wrong in the questionnaire or if it's the system. Hoping this bug won't lead to an incomplete application..

Btw, you should try and apply for the proof of funds letter from the bank sooner, I was just at HSBC, the teller estimated the processing time to be 2-3weeks

Thanks a lot! I shall go to the bank TMR!!

Have you ever raised your question via the Webform? It may take 7 to 10 business days to get a reply but maybe it can help. Also, did you select China (HK SAR) in the questionnaire instead of HONG KONG? I noted that there are both China (HK SAR) and HONG KONG available in the nation list at the same time, and I suppose the option of Hong Kong is for people who were born before 1997.

I thought I can only use the webform after AOR?
Regarding ID summary, I put (1) Passport - UK British citizen and (2) National ID: CHN (China (Hong Kong SAR)), didn't put hk passport there because I have never applied for one. Then, under Country/territory , I put China (HKSAR) and UK - British citizen
Country of residence: China (HKSAR). These answers reflect the reality of my situation and I'm puzzled cus I'm not the only person who got stuck :/

The website explains very clearly that IRCC will send you the request letter after they have received your application.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/hong-kong.html

BTW: The HSBC reference letter is useless because they won't list your exact funds. The letter just says "xxx figures". You better attach 6 months worth of bank statements and write a letter explaining how much average funds you have.
Thank you for this information, what a self proclaimed world class bank. When I include my bank statements, do you reckon I should get them stamped by the bank before uploading them?
Not sure if HSBC will provide a stamping service but Im asking in case they do lol.

Actually we used the Webform twice before and after we received ITA :p My husband and I once lived in mainland china several years ago, and the checklist automatically requires us to provide CNCC for these two different territories. For your case, I think it would be better to double confirm with IRCC via Webform as it may save your time in case there is a system mistake.

I used to pay Hang Seng bank $800 for providing bank statements, and there was no difference with the one you can find in your online banking account.

That's a good suggestion. May I ask if you used the Hong Kong webform or the general webform?

Before ITA we asked directly to the HK dept, and after ITA we used the general Webform by quoting our case no.

I guess the HK Webform, even though it's more effective than the general Webform, is only responsible for dealing with other visas like a spouse visa. For EE applicants, all questions should be raised under the general webform given the whole procedure is processed within Canada.

Hey fsw_hk, I got a follow up question about proof of funds, how "recent" should the bank letter be? For instance, if the letter is dated Oct 9, 2020, is it best to submit within 2 weeks after the letter is issued? Thanks :)
