Hi All,
Need any helpful info/ insights on my situation. Below is our timeline.
-COPR approved - Jan 15 2020
-Landed in Toronto - June 25 2020
-Applied (i.e linked the principal applicant’s PR application to the CIC profile) for PR card - June 27 2020. The status is submitted. No Ghost update or any other messages or emails.
- Still not able to link the PR application for dependent applicant.
-Applied for SIN (both principal and dependent) - July 10 2020
-Received SIN of principal - July 21 2020
- Called Service Canada from USA to ask about dependent’s SIN on Aug 14 2020 and they told there was some problem with his application so we need to wait and the file is yet to be opened.

For the PR card and SIN, I have given my friend’s address and I have even received my SIN. Now, since their lease has expired they have moved to a new place and I am looking at the process to change the address for PR card and SIN (dependent) I am trying to update the address in the below link
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do but whenever I give my UCI or application number it says not able to identify a file.
1) Has anyone done this process through the link or through web form ?
2) Was it successful?
3) Do we get any notification about the address change ?
4) Does this change of address apply for SIN as well? Or is it just for the PR card ?
Thanks in advance for your replies:)

I believe its 128 calendar day not business day. IRCC Hamilton probably is not that busy. Other maybe comparatively busier, tho it wont take more than 2 months. You should get it in couple of weeks for sure.
Hello Sharjeel,

Can you please explain what documents you had to send for your PR card? Did you have to apply for one? In my case I just received an email from CIC which had my COPR number and they requested me to submit my photos thats it. I never filed for an application is there something I am missing?

Please let me know how your application went through. I am an inland applicant too.

Thanks,

no that's all you need. I hope you added copy of that information letter (CoPR), which should have been on your CIC account, along with your pictures. CIC makes an application on your behalf. You should be able to link the application to your account.

Actually I didnt include the copy, my case is through a lawyer and they said that you just need to send the photos and mention your UCID and name on the back of the photos. Would that be okay?

Have you seen someone else who didnt include the letter?

I landed in Calgary on the 12th of March 2020 and completed my application for my initial PR. Still not gotten my PR Card or any correspondence. I travelled out of Canada and I have been in the UK for a while. I am now considering returning back to Canada but my PR is still not out. Still unsure of my options on how to go back to canada. I have linked my PR application to my PR Account but still nothing. Getting a bit anxious, Should I give IRCC a call and what number can I reach them considering I am calling from outside of Canada.

Hi @tayrg ,
which application you are linking in GC key? does IRCC providing PR card application number once they receive the photo and then we can use that PR Card application number to link in GC Key?
Please shed some light about how this is working?

Application for PR Card already exist in the GCkey after you receive your COPR. After few days of your sent the picture + Letter, go to the gc key and link application and follow the route to link the PR Card application... eneter your personal information as per COPR or Passport aaand you will be through.
If informationd oesnt match and it tells you that no application exist then call IRCC and agent will help you to link your application ... usually its place of birth which troubles...
