Link Citizenship application

Hello,
I recently got my AOR, it's showing under ECAS. However, I wanted to know, how do I link this application to my cic account?
When I tried with "Search for citizenship" to link mine it says

"Error Description: The application number you entered does not match the category you selected or is not valid for the transaction you are performing."

Am I missing something or I can't link and need to check via ECAS?

You can't link to your account. You can only check through ECAS.
