Ontario NOI received but IELTS expiring

Hi experts,

I received Ontario NOI yesterday through Express entry profile but my IELTS is expiring on Feb 10.
Next available IELTS dates are in Feb and even if I retake the test, it will take two weeks for results. So, my profile will definitely expire.

What can be done in this scenario?

take the computer based test. More dates are available and the results are declared in a week if i m not mistaken.
You will loose your Ontario NOI if you let your profile expire.

Would I lose it if I am unable to get required IELTS score ? I am planning to submit application before my previous IELTS expire.
Also, I will retake computer based IELTS before that. However, I am unsure of getting same or more scores as previous ones.What is the affect on OINP if my crs drops with new score?

You received an invite from OINP because of your standing in the CRS pool.
It is just a notification and not a confirmation. you have not been nominated yet.
In my understanding, Your CRS score was the factor that got you the notification. Why risk it by letting your CRS score drop? OINP can decline to nominate you after you submit your documents, with a lower score.
Work hard on your test and i will also recommend to write directly to OINP to check with them regarding the score.

If you submit the application before expiration of IELTS, you are safe. It's mentioned in their requirement specifications as well.

However, you have to maintain a valid express entry profile even after submitting the OINP application so you need to take the IELTS again before it expires.

I am going to submit my application tomorrow for OINP and my ielts is expiring on 27th October 2020, so I’m totally in fine situation here? Will it get nominated before 27th October if I submit my profile tomorrow?

Right and I’m going to give another IELTS test next month so that I can update my scores with new test scores before it expires in EE profile.

Hey yes! You just need to score CLB7 to be eligible for EE
