That is biometric validity letter after u enroll biometric. And final decision usually comes few days after u receive this letter

I believe we should not worry about the processing time. Seems they already have the results and will be announced with in a week or two. This time they got very few applications in comparison to previous year and just ircc showing there tantrums by holding the results.

I applied 19th May. Upfront medical 18th May. Biometric 14th July. Review started and medical passed. Apply from USA. Do u think we will get final result very soon? This month? Before September?

Is your GCMS telling you that your secondary office being NY or LA? Mine says LA, it is closed for now so I suspect that might be the reason why we haven’t received approval letter.

If you are filling from USA then you dont need to go for medical exam since i have not completed 6 months here so i did upfront medical.
I check it, and it shows 2 places. NY VAC is shown before, then VAC LA. On the website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/find-visa-application-centre.html, I think VAC NY is open but VAC LA is still closed!!
I think they are waiting on LA to open. Then we will receive our passport request letters
By the way. You submitted a web form asking why they are holding on your approval letter right? Any replies from them yet? Hopefully it’s not “we are working on your application”
Lol, I doubt when LA VAC opens back. Back then in April & May, Cali (LA) did a good job on controlling the pandemic, but VAC was still closed. Now, Cali is hit hard by pandemic, and it is funny to open lol.
I submitted a web form. They said they are not allowed to release the decision through email or let u know in advance.
I ordered another GCMS notes today. My previous one says 08/02 was the due date for releasing the passport request letter. Let’s see how it goes this time.
