Yes I guessed that that would be an options. Only issue is that Alberta government is trying to remove most occupations from being able to obtain LMIA’s in Alberta

My partner is from Australia and therefore visa exempt. He doesn’t need TRV to travel as far as I’m aware

Its a number they assign to your application before AOR and it would normaly start with an XF and later on they would remove the X.

With this is it linkable online? Is it is only linkable only when they remove the X?
It is not likely possible to link an application with a temporary file number. Though some have been able to link on ECAS without AOR, removing the X from the number. If you remove the X and are able to link then it means they started working on your application but have not sent you an AOR or an update. I know a few people who are way ahead with their applications and have never received AORs.
That is what they say. I tried and it didn't work. The system told me the receipt number was incorrect and should be in a format different then the number on my receipt. It confused me even more. Perhaps if my application is not in the system then it cannot read it?
Out of curiosity, has your gckey updated recently to state criminality is passed? I recall reading your previous posts and I think we’re at a similar stage in our applications, having passed medical mid-March just prior to the COVID impacts and before receiving notice our apps were sent to CPC-M or local VO?
Sorry to hear that, perhaps that is the case. The receipt number I used was in the format of beginning with ‘R’ followed by a sequence of 9 numbers, if that’s any help.
