My name is Nancy sebit I'm 18years old we have moved to Nairobi Kenya due to serious problems in our country south sudan, l live with my mum and my brother. After we moved to kenya we faced alot of financial problems l had to leave school because of fees that we we're unable to pay. My mum is uneducated making it hard to provide for us so life is really hard for us in kenya and we can't go back home due to insecurities back home that the government is doing nothing about it, we have no property nothing there so we can't go back and also going back is going to be the end of my future I want to finish my education I don't want to be married off for our relatives especially from the side of my father will do so and my family will not be able to do anything to help me. Our cry out loud is to get the opportunity to go to canada and start a new life with my family for I believe a bright future is awaiting us in canada. I need the help from the refugees organization to help us as fast as possible.

I was young then and my mum is uneducated so she doesn't understand English so its hard then for her to locate UNHCR and now since the coronavirus we we're on lockdown even the place we we're staying in is relative place and he said we have to move for he want to put it on rent and we are unable to rent it.

You can try contacting organizations on the Sponsorship Agreement Holder list. Most of these organizations are no longer accepting sponsorships, however you can certainly try. You can find the list here:

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

The Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) program is still active and the above link also works and will take you to the list of organizations participating in the program.

You can't apply for anything yourself. You have to find an organization that is willing to sponsor you and submit the paperwork.

Go to the link I provided again. Scroll down until you see a drop down that reads:"View list by province or territory". Select one of Canada's provinces from the drop down and this will then show you the list of organizations in that province that are approved to sponsor refugees. You will then have to contact these organizations individually to see if they are willing to take on your sponsorship.

You need to contact organizations on this list to see if they are willing to sponsor you. That is the next step. If you can find an organization willing to sponsor you, that organization will complete and submit the sponsorship application. It will take 2-3 years for the application to be processed.
