I understand that they can not open the office to the public or even start working as usual for their well being as workers. Where I am we’re confined with even more restrictions. However, I find it frustrating that there is no other way to process paper based applications and that some services are considered essentials but reuniting families is not as essential. Its just a general thought of exhaustion (not directed to you)
I don't get it. If they are only working on electronic files then how are all these people getting decision made? Especially people who applied in September 2019 when many of us are waiting from early 2019 and back into 2018? Don't get me wrong...I'm happy for the people that got approval but we are also from Ecuador as the one member here and we have been waiting since January 2019. If they can't process paper applications....I wonder why all these applications from Mexico are getting decision made ....and why are they leaving those of us hanging that have been waiting for 19+ months while approving people that have not even applied a full year ago

Ya it totally doesn’t make sense my wife is nov 2018 . I thought the files are in chronological order it’s all bs. I’m happy for anyone who gets the ppr but it’s heartbreaking so many 2018 are waiting still

I know It’s incoherent. I also don’t understand that. We’re from July 17 2018 and got decision made during covid. Now waiting for PPR which they cannot send because they can’t receive passports and print visas.

I'am October 2018, still waiting. Receive pre-arrival services and decision made on early june then silence. Send an email and they said they can't request any passport because they are not at their offfices. I can't imagine to wait until October. My family has been separate it for 380 days and counting. Please go to twiter hashtag prioritize family sponsorship leave you message we need to push on the medias they need to hear that outland families are suffering, we are Canadians too!!

It’s a new month.
I pray every applicant in here gets something this very month. Especially 2018 folks,Because this is nothing but torture for us all.
#2YearsStillWaiting ☹
let’s continue to be & think positive things.
It will come through.

I still can't believe it in 4 months it would be 2 years for me, I never thought that this process would be so cruel and unfair to us. I just pray that it all ends in the coming months.

I know the feeling. IRCC really messed up big time. Especially with this covid also. Don’t worry it’ll happen though.
