Can you work with your work permit in process , what happens to my SIN, it has a expiry in Jan 2021?
Yes, you can keep work. You would be over "implied status" and would be able to keep the same conditions of the work permit that has expired.
Probably you would just not be able to change to a new employer. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe you can keep using the same SIN even if expired (once you receive the new permit, you can go for Canada Services and do an update of the expiry date of your SIN number [it would be the same number with the same expiry date as the expiry date of your new work permit, you will have a new SIN number just when you became a resident permanent]).

If we all keep silent, who will point out the problem? When will IRCC make positive change?

I am calling people to voice out for IRCC’s attention on paper files. I respect that it is your choice to peacefully wait. But why you are implying that whoever holds different opinions with you is a fake account?

I did what I said. I have submitted countless comments to IRCC regarding paper files with my real name, UCI, DOB. Here is Canada. No need to be afraid of calling for fairness!

I don’t know how to attach picture here. Here is the confirmation email I received :

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We appreciate this feedback about your service experience. What you think is important to us.

We are not able to provide a personalized response to every message, but we review and consider all comments. You are helping us understand what we do well, and what we need to focus on improving.

If you have questions about our programs and services, you can consult the on-line IRCC Help Centre.

Thank you,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
I believe people who actually submitted the comment would receive the same email. As IRCC said “You are helping us understand what we do well, and what we need to focus on improving.”

If you still believe leaving comments directly to IRCC is useless but submissive waiting is helpful. I respect your choice.

BUT please stop speculating, judging, educating others.

Again, please don’t be silent. Here is the link to share our ideas directly to IRCC.

honestly, it doesn't make any sense to me! don't they scan our document before sending AOR email? If they do, they should have everything online and be able to process our applications when they're WFH! If they can process our applications from home, why they haven't sent a single DM since April while EE ppl are getting COPR even faster than pre-COVID?

Simple answer: IRCC gives priority to Express Entry applicants.

To those who doesn't know what "express" means, look it up on the dictionary, or google it up.

Peace!

I've applied for BOWP before getting my AOR because my work permit was due to expire. AR May 5th. what happens if my BOWP gets refused before submitting my AOR cause seems like it will be since it is taking a long time for everybody to get their AOR.

paperbased inland pnp here and before the covid how long did it used to take to get AOR?

Mine took a month. AR June 2019, AOR July 2019.

Hello! Does anyone have an update on ADR? I’ve submitted my spouse’s RCMP check + RPRF payment on March 7th and it is still showing as “Submitted”. I’m wondering if IRCC has already started working on Reviewing all Additional Documents Requests (ADR).

“Giving priority to EE” can NOT explain the fact that there is ZERO approved case for any paper PNP from Sydney Office since mid-March while tons of EE get COPR much less than 4 months.

To those who doesn't know what "fairness" means:

Fairness: impartial and just treatment or behavior without favoritism or discrimination
Peace!

I did the same thing but back on March 16. No AOR, no BOWP yet. I’ve been under implied status since mid April and I’m starting to freak out already since they waved the biometrics and no application is on hold anymore.

So you're trying to say IRCC is being unfair to paper based applicants?

Indeed, I asked multiple immigration lawyers, they told me directly and clearly: "PNP paper based is at the bottom of their priority". (among all economic immigration programs). But it's not unfair, we were told of the 18 months estimated processing time upfront and we voluntarily made this choice.

Fair?

ATIP on paper : 6 months.
Spousal on paper: 12 months
PNP on paper 19 months

Fair?

Same application fee paid.

PNP applicants’ time is less valuable than others?

PNP applicants’ occupations are less important than others?

If this is not unfairness or discrimination, then I don’t know what is.

Agian, I respect your choice to enjoy the wait. But please respect people holding different opinions.
