If you are full shaadi case and there no red flags (age difference, education level, second marriages etc) then it normally takes 2-3 months from AOR2 to DM and Passport request. These are not normal days though. I do not expect passport requests for atleast a couple more months.

i received aor2 in nov and i have paid permanent residence fee in nov but now its been 8 months and my status is still in process

They either send an email or update it in ECAS (for AOR2). They do not send both and both are equivalent.

We start processing your file on July 20, 2020.

Finally, they started something after a decade.

I have been waiting since 8 months too. NOV 2019 was AOR2.

A good number of people who had their AOR2 in Feb and March 2020 have had their PPR already. While us Nov 2019 people are still waiting.. Just don't get it.

no progress after it.

Everything is working now. There is no lockdown anywhere now. people are coming in and out of Canada and even travelling is open now in most countries so I just don't understand about no feedback on our files!! Maybe they just don't care or think this is important.

They made the annoucement of reopening visa offices in Pakistan today. I just checked today, I wanted to share good news with everyone. I know it is not easy living in Canada while our spouses are half way across the world. Due to the COVID 19 everything stopped. By sharing, this announcement with everyone here, I wanted to give everyone hope that we are united with our spouses quickly.

AOR2 on 9th of january then preaarival letter on 7th of march status change to Decision made on 18 of march
