Mine would not do anything either. I was dealing with the assistant in my local city. I think most MPs have a local office to help with immigration but they also have an office in Ottawa. Contact the office in Ottawa. They are much more helpful. When I contacted the office in Ottawa...the girl that handles immigration issues talked directly with my MP and told my story and my MP jumped at the chance to help me. When you deal with the local office in your city they do not actually involve your MP. At least in my situation they didn't. They only told me updates and said they couldn't do anything more until I contacted the office in Ottawa.

It is based on your location and postal code. My office will not help you unless you are in my area. Use this to find your MP. Unless you have talked to your local office I doubt they will help you if you go directly to the office on Ottawa.

When you go to the site. You click contact. Mine shows a constituency office which is the local office and it also shows a hill office in Ottawa where the MP sits in the house of commons

seems like Trinidad VO is up and working again,my husband checked gckey since Tuesday night and it’s saying “updating” so finally we’re gonna hear something!!
Cause July will make 2 years for our application!!

Well its did because back In august Mexico misplaced our file ,we weren’t hearing anything for about 4 months from them,then when we finally did was when it was transferring to Trinidad , it got lost in transit to the states instead of going to Trinidad VO!! So we had to re submit back our stuff to Mexico ASAP so that’s why the hold up!! So finally glad i completed my interview Back in March jus before borders closed and got pre arrival and now they’re updating it with something new!!So happy!! It’s about time!!!
So trust me when I say yes some of us in here from 2018 have been through hell with immigration and we’re not complaining like some 2019 persons that just started this immigration process.

Hello guys!! An update from me i check my gkey and it says decision made, i receive an email informing me of free pre-arrival services. This is good it means Mexico is working again. Also this email of free pre-arrival services does this mean our applications is been approve? If so how long will it take to receive the email confirming and asking for the passport?

No, it doesn't mean you're approved, it just means you're closer to the end of the process and there is no way of knowing how much longer, maybe not long or maybe months.

We were sent pre-arrival services letter on Jan. 7/20 and we're still here waiting!!

Yes it MEANS YOU ARE APPROVED!! Well we did interview in March so this week Trinidad started working bk on our stuff so anytime should be getting ppr! But there isn’t a time frame when It. Because everyone stuff are different. So just continue to think positive. You’re almost over!

Lol pre arrival service is basically a handbook to get u prep for Canada u know that right? Then why would immigration send u pre arrival service if you’re not approved? Do explain.
We were sent pre arrival service in March just after my interview also, that doesn’t mean we’re not approved is it? Lol cause atleast that’s not what I read in other forums.

I did see the "Decision made" today there was no update yesterday. So i got the decision made update today and the pre-arrival services email today as well. I mean why will they send that email is the decision is denied? Thanks so much for your comments!!!
