Yesterday administration company call me and said we received a letter from government about your VJO that still working or not and will work for next year or not.

Bill 9 victim. Working in Quebec for more than 3 years in the field of Chemistry.

I don't agree that you are always saying "the govt destroyed the files", they needed to reset the system, Quebec is way behind compared to the federal system, and at some point, the federal govt did the same for the EE and now we see how it runs smoothly.

happier you mean. PEQ was an option before, since my test results took months to be ready because of this crisis PEQ is not an option anymore. My CSQ is in progress already. you are not even affected by bill 9, it's because of the new system that your CSQ is coming soon.....

there are more reasons for this delay, what I heard (not official) is that the previous govt issued CSQs with no criteria, even for refugees *there were a high demand when Trump was elected), and they just exploded the quote that they have with the Federal govt, it can be one reason why the PR can take 18months... unfortunately we are going through all the changes while they are fixing their own mess. But you know, we are living here with jobs, could be way worst. Quebec: they show how you can love and hate it at the same time lol.

Hi I'm a qswp applicant. Got csq on 2016.Federal applied on July 2019.I m waiting for AOR. When I will get that any idea!? Including biometric fee I applied.

I have been going thru some of the previous posts regarding Bill 9 victims & the new Arrima system. Let me try to chime in with my opinionated opinion

My profile: I was previously on H1B in the US and because of my country of birth, I will never be getting a green card in my lifetime, so I immediately accepted a job offer by a small but specialized software company in Quebec and they did my LMIA and I & my spouse landed in 2016's end.
I learned some French by immersion, nowhere fluent. I am working fulltime and spouse is too. My NOC is 2173.

I applied for CSQ early 2017 and unlucky me, illegal border crossers started coming from Lacolle and the Liberal govt started focussing on them instead of skilled workers like me who are already working and paying taxes in Quebec. Also they were issuing CSQs without any regards to skills/merits but on a first come first serve basis. So a process which was taking 6 months grew to 1 or more years. This also increased the backlog at Federal level, currently its 22 months (thanks of CAQ govt for this, its another story)

So finally and luckily I received CSQ in 2018 October (1 & half years) after much uncertainty and no communications from MIDI. I have seen a lot of people who got into Quebec because of this lottery system. They are now Uber drivers and delivery boys and many of them living on govt. benefits without any tax contribution. They say they do 'Cash only jobs'. They say Quebec is the best province to freeload. It really hurts to be on the short end of the stick when I see these freeloaders in Quebec in particular and Canada in general.

So yes, the Liberal govt. in Quebec was too liberal in attracting asylum & illegals (Media & govt. like to call them irregular in a politically correct way) in 2016 and issued more CSQs than the Federal system can handle and the backlogs continue to this day. Liberals got voted out by CAQ on an anti immigrant rhetoric. Cant blame the xenophobes who voted for CAQ in Quebec because they saw those scenes from Olympic village full of illegal border crossers.

Now CAQ wants to "fix" this broken lottery system and did what most lazy govt. do. Cancel everything and bring in a new system. They also cut the economic quota at Federal level by 20% (Canada Quebec Accord), so the waiting time at Federal increased from 11 months to 22 months currently. Liberals were the ones who started Arrima but CAQ took over and released the system. So Quebeckers who voted for CAQ were appeased. Little do they know that the system is not working yet as intended, after all who cares about future immigrants ? They are here to take their jobs right ?

In short, Quebec immigration dept. is least interested to fix/speed up these things and it will take a long long time. There is no incentive for Quebec's immigration dept to fix any of this. They are under no pressure to be transparent in any of their processes. Only an access to information act will reveal their inner workings. As we do not know the process of obtaining information from MIDI, we cannot know what is really happening inside this dept. without Access to Information methods. We can only know what is published in their website but I do think those are not necessarily followed. (immigration plans, processing times or service delivery commitments etc)

So if anyone is interested, here are the Access to Information letters they have published from their website. You can read those responses and arrive at a conclusion if MIFI is doing their job or not. You will get a lot of stats like how many CSQs were issued etc.

Each one is on your own. If you have enough points, get out of Quebec and apply for Express Entry is my advice. Now if you ask me, inspite of all these, why I didnt go for Express Entry ? Its only because I like my employer and the job thats the reason I stay in Quebec. I had enough points for Express Entry in 2016 itself !

Now lets talk about Canada Quebec Accord, many do not know that there is quota limit at Federal stage even after receiving your CSQ be it PEQ or Regular, this quota affects your processing time for PR. CAQ govt has cut this quota by 20% and it increased the processing time from 11 months to 22 months now. Keep this in mind. You are not out of the danger zone yet even if you get a CSQ. Thats why I advice everyone to go for Express Entry if you have points. Now with COVID-19, CAQ's Legault will have to appease Quebeckers, he will be scapegoating future immigrants and skilled temporary workers like us for sure when this is all over. He will cut down CSQ issuances, will also cut Federal quota again.

You are asking in the wrong thread. You are always cross posting your questions in unrelated threads.
To answer your question, You will get AOR, but not within 3 or 4 months like before. It doesn't matter when you get AOR, your processing time will be still 22 months. Feds can be trusted to keep their words, not MIFI.
