Experienced Folks,
I need a quick clarification, Do we need to self attest all photocopies to be sent to BLS? I am planning to submit two separate DD for 44.40 CAD each for me and spouse and enclose each applicant's docs in a small envelope and send both envelopes in a large envelope thru Puralator. Please confirm if this is correct approach.

Hi

BLS brampton is not picking up any calls on given number, can anyone please guide me is there any other way to contact them? do they take picture at the facility or no?

all replies will be highly appreciated

They do not have any wiilingness to work. It seems vacation for them. Issuing PCC is hardly 2-3 hours of job in most of the cases. How come 2-3 hrs of work is taking 4 weeks whatever be the circumstances?

Only one pasted photo is enough. I sent one separately, but they returned it.

My documents reached on 21st and today I can track my application on BLS's website.

Self attestation is not required. One DD for 88.80 CAD is enough for both you and spouse. I kept the DD in a cover and on top of cover wrote "DD for both <self name> and <spouse name> for 88.80 CAD". I didn't keep any separate envelopes. I asked Purolator to bring a envelope and then placed all documents pinned separately for each applicant. Hope this helps.

Not sure why people are suggesting not to send passports. You have to send your passport if you submitting a postal application. It's on their checklist. You need to send both the photocopies and the original passport. I initially sent only the photocopies to be asked by them to send them my passport.

If you are not sure of it, don't misguide people. Also, if BLS finds your application incomplete, they will email you.

Just go through the underlined part in the web page.
Also i have received my PCC without sending original passports. May be it's a different case for you.

Thanks a lot. This is very helpful. Now a days BLS does not answering phone, I guess I can directly go to https://www.blsindia-canada.com/vas/ and pay for the shipping label. I doubt which one I have to choose - I live in Toronto region, per my understanding CAD 35 applies to me. Can you please provide some guidance on this.
For pick and Drop off of your application to your address in province (Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver only)
C$ - 35.00

OR
For pick and Drop off of your application to your address Out of province C$ - 50.00

I really don't know about the charges. Since i had them booked on the call, they sent me purolator payment link and generating shipping labels. I amount for pickup (single label) and drop (2 labels - self+spouse) was more than 50 CAD.

Thanks for the info. I will email them , hope they would respond at least to emails. Do we have to attach BLS checklist form with the application? If yes then do we have to mention any comments against section in the form where it says: "DOCUMENTS: Provide the documents below, in original and photocopies on letter size paper. Please note: Both your original Indian passport and status in Canada are to be submitted along with the photocopies of the same. "
