Hi everyone.

My COPR expires on May 3rd, and the lockdown in India is also till May 3rd. My flight was booked for May 1st. Like many of you, I've also tried to change my flight to try and make it to Canada for my soft landing - without any success.

After not finding any particularly useful information through the webform (also, in my case, there was a confusion in the application type to be selected - so I chose Permanent Residence Applied Online, which I think might have been wrong), I wrote an email to the Delhi Immigration Office. This was their response:

"Dear xxx,

Thank you for your email.

If you have been issued a Confirmation of Permanent Resident (COPR) document and you have not yet travelled to Canada and had your landing interview, you are still a foreign national. If your counterfoil expires prior to the restrictions being lifted, you do not need to email us as you will receive communication from our office on the next steps to be taken in order to travel to Canada after the travel restrictions have been lifted.

For up-to-date information regarding IRCC’s response to COVID-19, follow us on Facebook. As we are receiving numerous e-mails during this time, please only email us if you CANNOT find the answer through the information and helpful links on our Facebook page."

Mine and my wife's CoPR & PRV expires today. 20th April,2020.

We have attempted to travel couple of times but all in vain. We have also submitted a web form stating all the trouble and our inability to travel due to Coronavirus lockdown and unavailability of any flights.

No reply has been received yet. Waiting to get a response. Will update here as soon as I get one.
Have raise single webform for you and wife or separate webform for each of you.

Hi, I had a question... When fillling out the webform, what application type do you have to select? I could see 'Permanent Residence (Applied Online)' but I wasn't sure if that was correct.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, could You pls direct me to the Facebook page so that I could read the genuine updates posted by them.

My COPR expires on 16th July 2020. With India planning to extend the lockdown until June, I suppose that I will fall in the same bucket. I have booked My flight for May 6th 2020 but Telangana has put a lockdown till May 7th 2020. No news about Air India providing a refund either. This is all so stressful

Hello, my CoPR expires in September. I know I am here too early but just want to get an idea. What do you guys recommend I should do now? Are there any steps I can take now which will help me, or should I just wait and watch.

Hi there!
Any update on the matter?
Delhi NDVO is not yet processing extension request. Though, i saw someone's update in Facebook group with screenshots that their medical were extended by 6 months. Though, NDVO has clearly mentioned that they will contact us once flights resume. So I guess we should wait atleast till lockdown gets over to expect any update from NDVO

I booked Air India too. They are not replying to any emails. I didn't get any voucher or credit shell yet too.
