And there is nothing saying you cannot send further evidence to support your application. I do not think it is recommended but it is possible to send further evidence. Mine has been 15 months and I have been on many visits and have an extra child since I applied so I made sure they are aware before making us have an interview
I would suggest sending an updated Schedule A, as well as any additional proof of communication and time together since you submitted. I received my notes last week. They were basically blank, except it noted that I had submitted more evidence and updates in January, and the file was sent to the managing officer to see if "an interview was is still required." Turns out it is (insert big sigh) - but it prompted a double-check on the necessity of an interview, so there you go. You may be luckier than we were!

... they say to remain the communication to a minimum when they dont ask a thing. Could send them a LOT of proofs since feb 2019... proof that our mariage been accepted in quebec registry as per example and so on, proofs orf regular trips there last one at xmas and i was to go again in 4 days but since covid all has been cancelled.

I spoke to my MP and it seems my application is completely finished. Just awaiting an interview. She said interviews will be delayed and applications delayed but they are still there in Mexico working!
When you log in to the GCkey, does it mention that the application is still in process and they are determining eligibility? I only ask as my MP said my husband is in queue for an interview, but nothing has changed online in monnnnths

They say you should not send but the reality is that many do. So if it helps my case I am going to send. They took what I sent and added it to my application.

btw...to be honest i don't expect that a miracle of changes on pre-eligilbity but if there's really an interview it's gonna be less documents to bring there as supportive and a major one i've sent them is recognizing our wedding in Provincial Registry, means Quebec said YES all the documents are authentic soo... All those steps are already done here. So for the province we gonna live , Authorities has recognized the foreign event as true , so IRCC will have really to have against argues to dismiss this... if they don't believe on it.

i really don't know why they are soooo harassing on genuine ppl when you give them proofs and proofs. It's like NO even she's a doctor she's not rich and can't travel the world like i do so obviously our activities are a bit limitated stll it's NOT a reason to put us on doubt tho!

We have spent thousands of dollars in this relationship and she has done her part according to what she could. What do they want more ?? Her family are welcoming me as one of them ,alwas super nice to me , do all to keep me safe when i visit, adapt food menu and all, ask about how i'm doing here every week when i return... it's like.... what can be more true than this. They even do sacrifices to make me try the best the country has to offer.

I'm seriously getting sick of this process that is never ending.

I am so sick of it too. By the time the travel bans are lifted and we get a new appointment for an interview...our medicals will expire and then probably we'll be on lockdown again for the second wave of COVID. We are already 19 months in to this process. I really feel that it shouldn't take more than 3 months to be reunited with your spouse! This is cruel.

it's more like no matter the lot of proofs you have sent they don't care.. it's all based on nationality of PA... our medical expire in 20 days....

The Canada Visa Application Centre in Mexico City will remain closed until further notice due to the Covid-19. Please visit this website for further updates.
Here is the latest update. Not sure if the staff at Mexico visa office can work from home but I don't believe they can. Hoping things can get back to normal soon
