Just adding details for my girlfriend as her application was rejected earlier this month around Mar 5th/6th (October 2019 AOR - incorrect format for one of her work experience letters), her work permit was also expiring today but she managed to get provincial nomination extremely quickly (pretty much within 24 hours through NS Experience: Express Entry as she met the qualifications of 1 full year of work experience in nova scotia - kudos to the provincial agents for expediting the process due to her situation), received her ITA the same day and has now reapplied without the problematic work experience letter due to increased CRS points from nomination. Hopefully she'll be able to update her BOWP application with the new details in time as it's still in progress.

Anyways, here's the details:

CEC
PNP - NSPNP
ITA: 19 March 2020
E-APR : 20 March 2020
AOR: 20/21 March 2020 (don't know when exactly she submitted it)
Upfront Medical: Used previous medicals from original application

Hi, may I ask you what do you mean by the incorrect work experience format?? would you please explain more? Since I am also not sure how it should really be.
thanks a lot.

people are receiving AOR and medical passed updates and other updates in their account so according to me, they are processing the files, it is just about biometrics which they may do at the end but they may are completing other processes first. This is my opinion and I may be wrong.
Thnx for the news! Promising !! will keep the fingers crossed !!! Kindly share any updates. :)

Did you mention all the requested information in the service letter?

When getting your reference letter from your current and/or past employer, make sure they include the necessary information. Missing any of the required information means that your letter could be thrown out and could result in your application being rejected.

Information that must be included:

  • Your name;
  • Dates when you were employed;
  • Number of hours worked per week;
  • Name of your position;
  • Duties and responsibilities for your position (these must match the duties and responsibilities listed in the National Occupational Classification code you selected to describe the work experience in your Express Entry profile);
  • Annual salary plus benefits.
If you worked multiple positions for the same company you may submit a single letter, but it must include all of the above information for each position you held. The immigration officer will want to see the dates you had each position, as well as any changes to the name of your position, your duties, and your salary.

In addition, all work reference letters for Express Entry should be printed on official company letterhead with contact information for the company (address, phone number, email). The letter should include the name, title, and signature of your immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company.
