Guys on the immi website i read that ircc stopped some services due to corona crap, but did they only stop those services where they have to interact with the people physically or did they put pause on all the services...... ??????? I mean my immigration file is “in process” in etobicoke office in ontario, so the immigration officer will still be working on it right ???? Its been 27 months now ☹☹ !!!!!! So the officer will still go to his work ?? Right !! Or will he dropp all his work ? And it will cause me waiting for more time ?????

My file is also stuck at the background check, the only thing they asked was my wife’s fig. Print report from rcmp as my wife is here in canada with me on visitor visa, i submitted that report just after 8 days of request being made, after that i called ircc and the customer service agent confirmed that they received the fig. Print report successfully, this happened about 2 weeks ago, and i am waiting, for my passport request again, i do not know how long again they will take to make a decision on my file, as it is already 9 months over the processing time.

My medical was pass so as for my wife, so unless you leave/left the country for more than official leave period (21-30 days) they wont ask it again, thats what one of my friend said, but for me its really painful all of our decisions, plans and life itself stuck on one thing. I have no idea why they need 10 months more than the regular processing time to process a one straight file with no complexity. I just added my wife into that with required and appropriate documents. Its painful and disgusting every single day now.
