For Saudi Arabia, only residents will be issued a PCC. Those who have left will not get one, so no issues. You can just let cic know that you no longer live in KSA..

Hello, anyone knows the procedure to get pcc from riyadh. I got letters from ircc to support the PCC. But I want to know the recent procedure. In letter from ircc its mentioned that we have to take the letters to Ministry of foreign affairs get the clearance then go to police station. If anyone have recently went through this procedure please let me know the detailed steps.

Get the PCC from the police station, go to a translator and get it in English. Then go to the MOFA and get it attested.

Hi, I am in very serious problem. We got the PCC for both my parents. But the problem is that my fathers name on PC doesnt match passport name and my mothers birth place dosent match passport . It matches the iqama which is the resident permit of saudi Arabia. Iqamas details are different then passport. Can anyone guide me if Canadian immigration will accept this certificate because we already got it translated. Please help.

You may try to get another with the correct details, It will obviously cost you but that can save you from so much of confusion.

dear experts please guide. My wife's name on KSA iqama as well as the date of birth (By 6 days). is different then the passport.
While getting Pcc I am afraid the iqama name will appear on the certificates issued. Will that be a problem? Or is there any way i can correct it beforehand. Pls note i am the principal applicant. Some are suggesting Birth certificate along with LOE will suffice. Secondly she had 2 sponsors during her tenure in the kingdom (one her father until 2017 and presntly her employer), will she require 2 different PCCs?

Recently applied for a Saudi PCC in Jeddah.
Process is the same as mentioned in the first post of this thread.

Everybody was generally very nice and courteous over there so far.

Please apply for the PCC soon if you are expecting to get an invite in the next two draws. It takes time for the police to process it. I submitted my application on March 8th and they have called me back on March 19th.

About the MOFA fees- you can pay online and take a print out of the payment confirmation (SADAD) along with the Consulate/Embassy letter. Saving of 20 riyals for two MOFA attestations. Although I was carrying my passport with me, the attestation officer did not ask for either the passport or the Iqama.

For Indians, BEWARE of the VFS India office in Jeddah though. They overcharge severely for filling forms. Please register online MEA India website and when applying for PCC, select Saudi Arabia as the country for which PCC is needed. The generated form will be accepted by the consular officer in the VFS office. They do not accept forms filled out on plain paper anymore. Use the MEA website and save 30-40 riyals.

I had the same problem for my parents. My fathers name is different on iqama then passport. So we went to jawazat to change it but they refused to change it because the first visa on which my father came to saudi has same name as on iqama. They follow your saudi visa name. They dont see your new passport name and they never change it if it's different then saudi visa name. As for my mother we got the PCC without realising that her place of birth is different on PC then on her passport so we went to jawazat to change it and luckily her old passport has same birth place as new passport so they changed it without any objection. I hope this help.
