Thanks. This is helpful. My dad's file was transferred as he could not get Kuwaiti and Iraqi PCCs (he worked there from 1978-84) despite trying in writing. Copies of these doc's were submitted to IRCC. CPC-Mississauga transferred file to NDVO for final processing and decision. We found it from GCMS notes.
NDVO has done nothing on it in the last 100 days and status is Application Received.
Tnx they are working on your application, they have accepted your request that you have tried to obtain pcc. How you ordered gcms notes and how much time it took.

My parents officially landed as Permanent Residents today. Just finished at the border in Coutts. Thanks for everyone’s help and guidance and best of luck to everyone still in processing. Hang in there, it will all come eventually
Congratulations! Is there any way we can flagpole in an international airport??

Also, had another question, IRCC had requested birth registration certificate for me and my sister in the ADR on Feb 20. I had already provided the Birth Registration Certificate to them with the original application. Why did they request the same document again?
For Pakistani applicants - did you guys submit the Birth Registration Certificate issued by the union council? Am I missing something?
Birth registration certificate can be in urdu issued from local council and translated in English by notary public. Second birth certificate is issued by nadra (although same union council issue it but it mentions cnic# of your self and parents and printed on nadra paper plus it is in English as well as urdu hence no translation required) . Good luck

Hi guys I had a question - IRCC had requested to provide Travel information (separate forms for each applicant). I just realized that we uploaded the Travel Information for the principal applicant only (which had section for spouse and dependent in it).
Do I need to send the separate forms for the spouse and dependent separately? If yes, should I send it via web form now.
I submitted single form for both...it means data of both presented in single form.

Hi,
I am May 28 applicant. The current status on my PR application is Decision made in ECAS on Feb 18, 2020.

I have a question: Did anyone else had the same experience as me. I applied for GCMS notes in Jan. and I got an email from IRCC with GCMS notes on 17 Feb.

The very next day on 18 Feb, the PR status has been changed to DM.

I am just wondering to know, Is it just a co-incidence or that's what normally happens when you order GCMS notes.

Did anyone had the same experience as me as it has been almost three weeks I am waiting to receive PPR request?

Can anyone elaborate more on this?

I doubt it, you have to leave Canada and re-enter. I don’t think there is anyway to get to the immigration officials at the airport without coming in through one of the boarding gates

No you shouldn’t be worried. You have a similar processing time as many others.

My parents are visiting Canada for their landing summer 2020 and would like to get visitor visa for USA as well. They are first time visitors to the USA - and are getting visas processed from India. Would they need to submit financial documents (applying as Indian passport holder) or would they be applying as Canadian PR where the documents are pretty much less?
Until they land as PRs they can’t apply as PRs.

Nothing out of ordinary happening with your file...why getting worried?
