Hi there!

I've got my AoR on April 17 and was never contacted by IRCC since then.

The online status is always in "In Progress" state with on further details.

I don't have direct access since I have designated a representative, but last time (two weeks ago) it still was in the same "empty" state.

The estimated processing time deadline was on Oct 17.

My lawyer did contact IRCC via online web form, the response was:

"All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment. "

Looking at the messages on the forum it seems like people are able to get details about their application, e.g.

- what stages an application passed
- what is the current state
- what visa office handles the application

How do I get those details?

Every time I try to call IRCC, I get disconnected right aways with "all agents are busy" automated message.

I feel like living in a immigration limbo. Please help!
Your best option now is to request for your GCMS notes. It will give you a good idea of what is causing your application to stall. You can then take proactive steps and get ahead of it. I do not know how it will work with a representative though. I am sure others can share their experience.

Hello guys! (Please have a look and advise)

Aor: Mar 14th 2019
Category: CEC (not sure about what is inland) - I am in living and working in Canada.
I called and spoke to the agent (last week) and they said all steps have been done and there is nothing to be done. I asked again about the next step and they said there is nothing remaining everything is already done and looks perfect.

Agent said - they are just waiting to finalize your application.

Question - It would be great if you guys could provide some info - is there any time line in general after all passed to receive the confirmation email?
I read on one of the thread that it takes 2-3 months to receive the confirmation email once everything is passed. Is it true?
If everything is passed what does still finalizing mean?

Please share your suggestions as it will help calm the anxiety for me and others who may be in same situation.

Thank you!!
Wondering what's your current state? Did you get your final stage completed? How much time did it take?

The timeline of my application has been reaching to 1 year and still nothing as of today. So, I decided to order the second ATIP notes to know what IRCC is doing and why my application has been taken up to a year to process. I can't keep waiting without doing anything because it's unusual for a PR application under CEC to be processing and still no result after one year. I'm feeling that my application has not been touched or ignored by officers.

Unfortunately, ordering ATIP notes is the only way I can do at this time. There is no way for me to complain or write my inquiry to IRCC. Honestly, I'm not happy with what IRCC is doing to my file. It's not fair!

Sorry guys but please understand how I am feeling right now, extremely frustrated!

looking at April 2019 forum updates seems like how careless IRCC is about applicants and they just disregard that people have some set of expectations, there is delay in submission, medical or background check it takes a while but for normal and genuine cases also they take own sweet time

Unfortunately the fact of matter is that this is not end but beginning of another struggle who are coming to new country in expectation of better future and majority will return back since they will not get right opportunity as every migration is not a success story. Thes ones shared on public platforms are just makes small percentage of people moving to Canada.
