Back in August, I entered to the website and could register in the first intent, without having to wait for any second. And then, the stream was opened until Sep 23.

oh now i understand what is queue because i never experienced it last year.

My perception towards this:

1. May be due to some malicious activity, profiles were created. I don't think so all those 1300 registrations are genuine profiles with job offer.
I am saying this factor looking at the previous year trend as this stream was opened for almost 5 months to reach the limit.
No chance that Ontario could meet the limit within just 30mins.

2. And also since hiring was very slow since Oct 2019 till Feb 2020 due to vacation/holidays celebration. There is no way that many forgein workers would have got the job offer letter during that span.

Looking at the above points, I assume Ontario will definitely reopen the stream sometime soon!

Nevertheless, we all should drop an email addressing Ontario immigration program explaining the technical issues faced while registration.

That what I was saying last year even this job offer stream (both international as well as skill woker) opened from 2018 till 2019 end of April and covered applications almost 1250 something ...yesterday not even 30mintes... the stream completed its intake number of almost 1300.... and if you open oinp portal now ...still there is waiting time of 54 minutes....why??????? Now what's the point of queue???

Two Ontario Employer Job Offer streams open and close on same day
The International Student and Foreign Worker streams under Ontario’s Employer Job Offer category were open briefly on Tuesday

Ontario opened applications for two streams under its Employer Job Offer category, yesterday. After experiencing technical difficulties and a short application period, both streams have reached their intake limit and have been closed.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Employer Job Offer category allows immigrants with a job offer to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. They can apply in Canada or from abroad, as long as they have been hired for a permanent position with an Ontario employer.

On March 3, the OINP released a statement opening up applications to the International Student Stream. Intake was quickly paused due to “technical issues,” according to the OINP webpage.

It was later re-opened along with the Foreign Worker Stream, but shortly after applications to both streams had reached their intake limits and were closed.

The OINP said they received 1,322 successful registrations during the application intake window. Those who were successfully registered and received a file number have 14 days to submit an application, which takes about three hours on the OINP web portal.

“Demand for the streams was extremely high, so not all who wished to register were able to do so”, a representative from the OINP wrote CIC News in an email. “The OINP will continue to monitor intake of applications across all streams to determine when the Employer Job Offer: International Student and Foreign Worker streams will reopen in 2020.”

For now, applications to these two streams remain closed until further notice.

Applications are open to those who are eligible for the In-Demand Skills Stream under Ontario’s Employer Job Offer category.

I applied for the OINP job offer last September and last week I received the AOR and biometrics request. Booked it for March 23rd, first date available

AOR day, one more step for long march.
BTW, I try to link my application to my EE profile, but it complains that no application can be found, but I can check the status via https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html.

You can't link on onip with express entry it is non express entry route unless it is human capital

Nope its not. The streams opened and closed recently are non-express entry streams... Please goto Page #122 of this forum and read +2 and -2 pages we wrote for the new comers.

Really feeling sad for the folks who could not take a spot. But I always believe and have experienced one thing -- "If the desire is strong, you will achieve it one day, no matter how and no matter what" ... Guys who are young, get some experience and enter the EE streams.

This brings in some interesting prospects (my personal thoughts) --

1. Either many many people suddenly have valid jobs (and/or job offers). Very very unlikely taking into account that 6 months earlier it took 1 full month for OINP to hit the ceiling (Or they may have failed to close the stream last year, on time, due to an opposite kind of technical glitch).

2. The so called Immigration Agents from all over the world realized the importance of taking a spot and may have taken some spots for folks who dont even have offers yet. (Or they found a way to change name etc later)

3. If point 1 is true, then Canada's economy is and will boom to next levels, inspite of immigration.

4. The whole thing was a glitch and OINP will re-open these streams soon.

5. OINP wants to release very few quotas but for many times within a year.

have you got an employment contract? I wonder that is the offer of employment letter.?

I think its a Job offer letter + the offer of employment fee paid letter. Like I said, the lawyer did my final submission of WP while I did the PR application myself. So, I cannot help you 100% on WP front. But I think you should submit all the docs to make the case stronger as long as the documents agree with your NoC code and other details.

No it's not possible to link to EE. You can link to your online account as a provincial nominee but not EE ligated

Fair enough mate. I can include the offer of employment fee together. I was wondering where to include the fee payment PDF.
