Thanks. I heard that Mississauga applications are faster. My son is now done with his medicals. I hope I will have the same timeline as yours to hear PPR in a month's time...

Its just the outland PR applications that are taking an atrocious amount of time

My child is inland applicant but even then file is transferred to London Visa office and taking more than normal time. Don't know for few it just takes 2 months and for some it takes a year. I can see for naresh it just took 2 months while we have been waiting since long. Don't know what is the criteria to process for so fast. I know another from Turkey who also got PR in just 2 months

Did you raise a query if it has gone past the normal processing times. Not sure why for small children it takes so long.

can anyone tell me how long before you get medical request? Since December I have also tried to link my application but no luck

I got an email update today saying that her file was transferred to Mexico office for processing, any idea on the processing time time?

Thank you, I tried linking the application and keeps saying it was not found tried multiple ways now the online status says we sent you medical instructions - but since no email came thorough little confused.

Find the thread here that says How to Link your Application to GC Key. Follow it step by step and you will successfully link your app. That’s what I did.

Yes. So I logged into the online services and checked - status says in progress, when clicked on I see the following:

On-Line Services

Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 3, 2020.
2. We sent you medical instructions on February 3, 2020. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Given that it says- Please consider delays, safe to assume it will come as a postal mail? To note: We are applying from within Canada. Thank you.

Try to link your account in GC key, I believed the request was already in there.
