Received PPR for my parents today!
I have a question. My parents are liveing in china now. The Canada Visa Application Centres across China are closed because of coronavirus outbreak. Can they mail their passports to canada to me, and I submit them to Ottawa? Thank you for any advise.

Congrats!
Canada govt does not advise of mailing of the passports (you can at your own big risk) . May be you can send a webform and ask for extension.

Have you linked your application yet? I just did it today and it shows the application is in progress with some details of biometrics since my parents have visited canada before. Thats it. No other requests etc.

The ecas status still shows Application Received. Our timings are very much aligned. Dont know when to expect more communication from them.

yes same as you. Ecas is just application received- no more communication- I'm pretty concerned it's getting too late

My cousin will come to Canada in few days. Can he bring my parents` passports to me? Is it a problem submitting their passports in Canada while they living abroad?
