My husband sent his passport on December 10, and they called him today to say it’s in Santo Domingo

Joining you soon like many others.. this VO is just not able to run anymore...Wish government would see that and help sending a few ressources or dispatching cases at Missisauga or elsewhere.. cause we all are going up to 12 months and is just the start.. 27 days from a year in my case... is sure gonna bust..Wonder how many we gonna be at over a year in soon....
 
We've been waiting for 18 months here. My husband had an interview on October 15, I had a phone call from the agent on November 7 to confirm some information and my husband got the pre arrival letter the next day. The agent (Mexico VO) said that if everything was ok (meaning the background check) my husband would be able to come to Canada in January. We are still waiting and the medicals expire on January 30. Now, I imagine he'll have to do the medical exam again (with children) or there might be a problem? We're so exhausted of the wait.

ugh... is not even human.... 18 months !! Just not acceptable... Sometimes they extend the medical tho still it's not fair to make ppl wait that much.

I totally agree...its not acceptable...idk why Mexico VO do not ask for help to other VO ...I am sure they are not the only ones...

That is terrible to hear. I hope everything goes well and your family is able to join you soon. They really need to get more people there. I understand they process for 8 or 9 countries but it just seems like everyone who's file is in Mexico is stuck.

Just tried to reach IRCC by phone number and they hang up when you want to get to know your status of app... they say to consult online which pretty is

1) Not updated
2) Not even reliable


wow...they really show are we wanted. Now not even answering.

This VO is a joke and a mockery for us, Im already tired sincerely im in shock so many taxes are paid and fees for nothing... To have families waiting without giving them some kind of answer.

I am one of them..Like others I am from Cuba and I have to travel to other country to made any test or any interviews and that means more $ spend..and it's me and my baby girl..so plain tickets..staying in a hotel and paying the bills from what ever I went there to do..if I have to send a doc I have to pay really a lot because we just have DHL in here and it's very slow..so all is a nightmare and later the all long waiting and stress of not having any news...this is like to need therapy after...idk and I repeat WHY THEY DO NOT ASK HELP TO OTHER VO??...WHY DO NOT GIVE SOME APP TO OTHER VO?? I AM SURE THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES!!.OMG!! There app from 18 months and still waiting..this is inhuman

They should start sending them to India. Seeing how fast India is processing these files. If you want to get depressed go to a september, october and even november 2019 thread and you'll see people from India have already gotten their PPR.

That's all that bothers me about the money that's spent and they just don't care, all the effort we make to meet the requirements and they just let it go expire and have to do it again.
I also think that after this process I will need to see a therapist or psychiatrist, this has made me mentally tired and I don't want to imagine how you and all those who have children are doing as you explain to a child who doesn't know when he will go to live with his father, this process is so cruel.

Immigration is a business.... you pay for everything...if you think they care about us..lol... they don't they do this program for the "image it gives of it"

I totally agree with you!!! I know about September October and November app...that is why I feel so depressed because they are all before us and they even got stuck what will happens to us??this thing ...immigration is more than a business is a deadly process that can kill even the strongest ones
