I am 13th June, file transfer 22nd oct. But received the pre arrival on 12th dec.
But getting a pre arrival is nothing much I guess. It can only sure you that visa officer is satisfied with the relationship and he is not gonna as for more papers or interview.
Also some people got the pre arrival and ppr within a week some got on the same day. Some like me are waiting for more than month. So keep your hopes high, we will get something soon.

I don't think they would have lost it, process is all digital these days.
It has gone to probably the most lazy officer.

i am also waiting for ppr or pre arrival. I got the second aor on 22 august and then start processing at ndvo on 3 sep and after that i got no pre arrival or nothing else
My one year will be completed on 22 nd of feb and i dont know what to do after that. I did not even recieve pre arrival letter. I am little scared they might lost my file!!!

Unfortunately, receving PPR quickly after pre- arrival from NDVO is rare. I even know people who waited for 2+ months after pre-arrival
NDVO is sueezing the hell out of relationships in the name of pre-arrival and then they call it background check taking time.
They make pre-arrival act like a pacifier, which can calm you down for a while.

I dont understand how the background check us Mississauga is completed simultaneuously with DM and PPR.
And how come the background check for a batch of people is completed at the same time even though they received pre-arrival on different dates.

Some APRIL/MAY candidates received pre-arrival in the same week, but only APRIL ones were issued PPR. Doesn't make sense if the background security check was started at the same time, how was it completed for half of people at the same time.

This story has another face, that no one is aware of. Very sad and harsh behavior to make all innocent people suffer unnecessarily

Very logically said..it is very depressing to wait for our spouse and kid to be with us due to this unclear and long process. I hope IRCC does something about it and speedup the process

Me and my wife were discussing the same thing a day back, the process is unfair. Ofcourse it is deviating due to different visa offices but its disheartening to see some people get ppr in 3 months while some are still waiting for more than an year with no mistake of their.. Its just not right emotionally.

IT has been more than 2 months after pre-arrival (recieved nov 19). No DM/PPR. May 13 applicant.

Any July applicants got PA? My file was transferred to NDVO on Nov 5 and started processing on Nov 15th. No PA yet.
