Re posting!

Hi,

Can anyone provide some guidance on this:

My application was received on May 15 and My wife's application was received on May 17 in Ottawa for our Parent's sponsorship. We had a baby in June. I have my AOR but my wife is waiting for her's. When should we update the IRCC about the baby ? Should I wait for my wife's AOR first to avoid confusion ? We both are co-signers.

Thank you!
What did you do to update it? Any update?

I have sent an email to CSS.ClientCheck@gov.ab.ca

And also called the supervisor in the Edmonton office (the number was provided by @bdidol ), she said its not her office where this request would go but she took my phone number and said she will try to find out which department/office it would have gone and she will give me contact information from that departments (hopefully she could find that department).
I’ll share the details as soon as I get any email or call back from that supervisor.
It is unfortunate that we are having to go through this. In my case, I got the social services department in Ontario to resend the response to IRCC. The 2nd response was sent to IRCC almost a month ago and my file still hasn't moved. So in my case, IRCC has received response from social services twice yet I am still awaiting DM on sponsor side.

Anyone can help?
I don think you can do anything more than sending an update through Webform. If you have the Birth certificate / SIN for the baby, you can provide thorough the webform as well.

After a few days call IRCC and confirm that the additional dependent was added to the file.

Thanks. I did let CIC know this change via webform. However the agent needed me to submit everything again and wanted to add my newborn baby to the application.. So I was sure that agent misunderstood. I sent an email without attaching birth certificate to Mississauga office but no response. My CIC account also didn’t request for further files.
Anyone can help? Thanks

We had submitted the webform to inform about newborn. We got a response from CIC saying that our file isn't in the system yet and asked us to resubmit the updated information after we receive AOR. Hope this helps.
Did you update your newborn baby info to CIC? If so, how and what did they response?

Thanks for your reply! Do you think it's better to wait till I receive the ppr letter then report my newborn baby? He just came out last week.
I don't know if I report it now will slow down the process or not.
How did you update this to CIC? Any response from them?

Really appreciate for any advice about my concern as follows:

My file was received on May 8th. Because my parents are staying in Canada as visitors. Their visa office is in CPC-Mississauga. I submitted additional documents (e.g. PCC, CV ...) on Oct. 11th by email to CPC-Mississauga. Yesterday I got an email saying their file will be transferred to HK. I guess it is because my dad's visa is expired on Dec. 31st, 2019. But I applied the visa extension for him at the end of Nov.
This morning I send an email to the same email address which I used to send PCC docs to ask to keep their file in CPC-Mississauga.
My concern is
1) Should I send the request to the email address of CPC-Mississauga or through webform? Which one is faster?
2) Will CPC-Mississauga stop transferring or have they already transferred or do they still transfer regardless of my request?
3) Anything I could do not to delay the process?

Thanks a lot!

What is your Medical passed date?

-- No . CIC will decide where PR file will process. you cannot decide.
2) Will CPC-Mississauga stop transferring or have they already transferred or do they still transfer regardless of my request?
--if required CIC still transfer regardless your request ( you cannot select your Local VO)
3) Anything I could do not to delay the process?
--do not send email for selection your Local VO;.

You cannot stop this new LVO transfer. It's IRCC discretion. It's happening with some othe applicants also.

I don’t understand how IRCC works on these things. There are also other people who have got notes where it says province response came back as negative and still their applications are stuck like yours.
In my case, i think province would have sent response, IRCC just did not receive/acknowledge it. And it is hard to find the exact department in Alberta to get that response, it is supposed to be Alberta Works/Income Supports but they don’t know much about it.
In notes it has a due date after a month when the request was sent, but still IRCC is waiting for 5 months and not doing anything.
And your case is even more surprising, even after sending the response twice there is no luck.

There is no medical passed date. It is always showing reviewing the results.

In My case IRCC received the SSC confirmation from the province of Alberta on August 1, 2019. They took almost six month to get back to my file. It is very unfortunate but we don't have much more options to go with. You may want to try your local MP, That might help. Wish you all the very best.
