The 6-month period begins on the date when all the information required to process your application (forms and documents) has been received and added to your file.

So they're lying from the biginning since they can ask for the documents when ever they want !
It's so unfair for people living in Quebec because we have a temporary permit.

They are again deceiving with their fake commitments, initially they said 6 months and every one assumed period starts right after invitation just like Express entry and now they say 6 months after receiving documents. Everything is at their own discretion.! Damn!

Which is means that it can take 1 year or more to get the CSQ. They are not truthful. It’s a shame

Why don't they say that 6 month is count from the date when they approve csq. That will be more safe for them.

They should also make it clear how long would it take between the invitation and the document request. Otherwise, the processing time can be arbitrarily long. My status has been staying as "waiting for treatment" for more than 6 months now.

In this way, MIFI can control everything. They can stop send the document request anytime they want without be criticizing for the 6 months period.

U will be wiser if you leave quebec.. i have 1100 file no. But i meaving tomorrow..if i get csq i will come back

Someone should tell Mr. legault that he cancelled the pending 18,000 applications by saying that old process takes time, we will do the process in six months now whats the difference previous system almost had a same timeline after documents request it will take six months now what's the difference? Why he cancelled the applications?

I think we should contact some liberals in the Govt and ask them to raise the issue in Parliament.

Please, send them the email only to liberals because they are the only one already against the bill 9, send them the email mention how CAQ Govt cheated on us by saying first that the total time is six months now they had changed the definition of the time period. I already send them an email asking them to raise this concern in the parliament.

This is just insane and disgusting.

Now they find that they cannot process all invited people in 6 months, so they change the rule.

Highly possible that they will change the rule again, saying that people will receive csq ONLY AFTER QUEBEC APPROVE THEIR APPLICATIONS.
