No the pre arrival says the welcome note from the Canadian govt. It includes the list of free resources which I can use of canadian govt when I arrives in the country. It comes when you are done with eligibility. Meanwhile only security checks are left to clear for the officer before DM and ppr

Mostly the ppr comes just within the week or little more after pre arrival but I got holidays and as you said before NDVO is pretty busy with the student visa for Jan intake. So I have to wait for more time now.
Nahi Nahi. It’s nothing like that. Some people got the pre arrival and ppr or dm at the same day. And I am 13june applicant so don’t worry about it.
oh theek theek.. i just was advised from our immigration consultant that NDVO takes 2-3 months to issue ppr usually.. im sorry i love my country India and Indian people but we need to limit the amount of student visas.. its getting ridiculous here..i do support them but to a limit.. Its not fair for people like us who have spouses that are loving apart and trust me its hard.. we should have priority.. maybe im just being selfish..and im sorry but i feel spousal visas and apps should take priority
It’s ok. Waiting is frustrating for everyone. Even if for a day or months. And I don’t have anything for students and I am sure you don’t have too. I have problem with the embassy to deal with the file processing . Why do the people who’s got there file transfer to local VO have to wait for so much more time compare to people from Mississauga. It’s not fair at all. Some got file done in 3 months. And we are checking GIC key every day like idiots. I don’t have any red flags nor do I have a fake marriage. We are together for last 6 years from schooling still our file got transfer to NDVO and we are waiting like idiots. That’s frustrating for me.
I completely agree.. its ridiculous..me and my husband have been together for 2 yrs and no red flags either and i have a friend who got arranged marriage and her husband got here in less than 4 months and yes we are waiting like idiots.. just not fair..I am hoping that January they move alot of fes as we deserve to have some good news.. I really dont have a problem with the student visa aspect but i think our government needs to slow down the amount pf student study permits bc cities like Brampton are highly overpopulated and no places for them to rent as some students are ruining it for others and there are hardly no jobs.. its just become too overcrowded.. but again i agree the visa process should be on a first come first serve basis of how the applications come in.. its just unfair.

this is what ECAS says. The file was sent to New Delhi on Aug 30th. We received that letter in the cic account. After that we didn't receive any letter.
Does anybody know what is the average processing time in Delhi ?

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my partner from Jordan. He still has yet to be asked to do his medical exam. Immigration received our application on June 20, 2019. I received the AOR in late July. Is it a good idea to contact them or should we just keep waiting?

I know what it's like. It's frustrating that we're still waiting. We'll probably be waiting until well into the new year. My partner and I have received no information from the local VO.
My wife received PPR yesterday from Sydney VO (although I was mentioned as the authorized rep and all previous emails came to me). So do check both PA and sponsor emails. Best wishes for all and hope you all get yours soon.
