Hi! I just want to share my experience and timeline! I will be studying in Centennial College - Progress, Winter Semester January 2020.

Regular Application/Non-SDS.

November 4 (Monday) - Upfront Medical
November 6 (Wednesday) - Submitted my Study Permit Application and Biometrics
November 8 (Friday) - I made a GCKey Account
November 9 (Saturday) - Medical Examination Passed
November 22 (Saturday) - Received Correspondence Letter about validity of biometrics
November 25 (Monday) - Study Permit Approved
November 26 (Tuesday) - Passport was dispatched for courier.
November 27 (Wednesday) - Passport was delivered to my agency.

Medical Exam Fees:
Base Fee is P12,145. I paid an additional P1,910 for MMR II Booster. If you still have you baby book, I suggest na dalhin niyo and ipresent sa counter para makatipid kayo sa ibang vaccines. Also, I had to pay an extra P3,476 for my tattoos. My total Medical Exam Fee is P17,531.

Sobrang helpful ng forum na ito sa application ko. Kaya let me know if you need more information about the process and requirements! Thank you!

Hi! Can I submit my father’s financial documents only? Since he’s the one who’s paying for everything? Or do I need to have the money to transfer in my account? Thank you in advance.

Hi po I'm John.

I am currently on the verge of applying my student visa for my class this September 2020 Intake in Post-Graduate Course in Interactive Media Specialist. Already got an Unconditional Offer Letter. They said na isesend nalang po nila sa agency ko yun.

Here are my information:

Age: 24
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Major in Multimedia and Animation
Work Experience: Around 5 years of work experience
Employment Status: Unemployed for about 7 months already
Proof of funds: Gift from my deceased dad. Other option, I can show my aunt's bank statement and etc for sponsorship.
Personal Bank: I have it but a few amount of savings.

Thank you for the people who will be answering my questions! Really curious and nervous (lol) on how I will do with the application.

My study permit was approved this morning and I'm confused what to do next. I will be fetching my Passport in Makati tomorrow. Do you guys have any tips on what will be the next steps? I will be grateful if you can answer my queries below:
1. What vaccines i need? Since I passed the medical, do I need to have one?
2. The validity of my study permit is until march 2022, can i book a dec 24 ticket?
3. What questions will i expect in the immigration? One in the NAIA and once I arrive in Vancouver.
4. How much money you suggest i bring? In Canadian dollars? My aunt will fetch me at the airport.
5. Do i need a very thick jacket? Not sure what is the weather when I arrive if i book dec 24 flight.

My classes will start on jan 06. Thank you all in advance for the replies. This forum is very helpful in my application.

in my case, I just sent them my sponsor’s proof of income and bank statements then declared in my letter of intent that i dont have a job. By the way I have two sponsors. One in manila and the other one in Canada which will be my host during my study.
