It Makes sense, but it's not just pub gigs it is my job, I charge money to do it, so I've been doing that for years, I also write book in my mother language.
I thank you so much for your "advices" but what I need from you (don't get me wrong please, I'm saying that to you in a respectful and polite way) what I need from you is not the assessment of what I do as self-employed person, but what NOC should I use in my application. Can I use both NOCs? related to Music and Literary industry? Has anyone been approved on this category putting in the application multiples NOCs and Skills? If you can answer this Question Theguv I will appreciate, you are unable to answer I also appreciate. :)

Does anyone can help?
Hi Woti,

I think maybe you should bring your concerns to some professional register immigration consultants, It will cost you a little bit of money but definitely worse. They will balance all your situations and gives your advice because you could find that the word defines eligibility candidates using in relative experience is !! OR !!, which means you may be taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level OR self-employed in those relative areas. The magic words ''or'' would change everything.

Of course, the competition is obvious, absolutely it is not easy. But what I try to say is the advice from competitors and from a professional thrid-part consultant or organization will totally different, because they may start from different angles. Just try to figure out the real possibility from your self, everyone's situation is different. Good luck!

Hi,
Im from Pakistan with 5+ years of Upwork (Top Rated) and Direct International US EU CA AU Clients. I design and develop their websites and they can help me with providing all the necessary letters (as I have a lot of clients and made a decent money these years). I can prove all the work experience with banking transactions from all these businesses. I have a decent IELTS as well as I'm an Electrical Engineer. Ideally my best suitable NOC is 2175 but for SE I have some duties under 5241. So I will go with 5241, my questions are:

1) Am I eligible for this stream?
2) What does it mean by World Class...? I don't have any worldwide official recognition but yes worldwide clients and plenty of reviews + $$$.
3) Would I still be able to apply in parallel for EE (trying to improve ielts to get into OINP EE directly) with noc 2175? as some part of it is in 5241 for SE.

Answer would be appreciated. Thanks

First of all, did you apply to immigrate as SE as well?

About your wife she can check on:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/self-employed/eligibility.html#experience

And see if she qualifies.
Under the Self-Employed Persons Program, what does cultural activities mean?
Cultural activities include jobs generally seen as part of Canada’s artistic and cultural fields. Examples include:
  • authors and writers,
  • creative and performing artists,
  • musicians,
  • painters,
  • sculptors and other visual artists,
  • technical support and other jobs in motion pictures,
  • creative designers and
  • craftspeople
Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) provides a full list of qualifying activities for self-employed persons.

To qualify as a self-employed person, you must have two years of relevant experience and show that you intend to become self-employed in Canada.

This unit group includes those who use manual and artistic skills to design and make ornamental objects, pottery, stained glass, jewellery, rugs, blankets, other handicrafts and artistic floral arrangements. Makers of musical instruments are also included in this unit group. Most craftspersons are self-employed. Artistic floral arrangers are usually employed in florist shops and floral departments of retail establishments, or may be self-employed. Craft instructors are also included in this unit group and are employed by artisan guilds, colleges, private studios and recreational organizations.

All examples - 5244 - Artisans and craftspersons

Is there a net worth requirement for the self-employed program?
There is no regulated minimum net worth requirement. However, you will have to satisfy a visa officer that you have enough money to:
  • settle in Canada with your dependants and
  • finance the work on which your selection was based.

Dear Members,
Seems like this group is very useful in helping those who are planning to apply under Self-Employed Category.

I have the following background:
1. I have done Masters in Fine Arts from a university in the year 2010. My complete education is of 16 years.
2. I intend to apply under NOC 5136 "Painters, Sculptors, and Visual Artists".
3. After completing my Masters in 2010 i am earning through selling my paintings and art works.
4. I am a freelancers means my business is not registered anywhere.
5. I have not declared my business income in any of my Income Tax Returns till 2018.
6. My husband has a sibling who is a Canadian citizen.

Now given the background as above i have a few question, would be encouraged if someone answer to those.
1. Do i qualify under the Self-Employed Visa Category?
2. Do i need to get my credentials equivalency from WES?
3. How can i prove my freelancer work experience of past 5 years?
4. What additional should i do to enhance my profile and get better chances of success?

Thanks and Best Regards:

Amna

Thanks for sharing. May I ask what your full timeline is? I mean, when did you apply, when did you receive your AOR, when did they ask you for medicals? Any steps in between, etc.?

You are saying that you are selling your creative work, do you give a receipt for the money received.
The money so received cash or a bank transaction...? and have records of your transactions

None. I proofed funds at first submission. Not something special in additional documents request, just some forms update, photos update, the resent criminal reports and if you have any additional self-employed related documents during the submitting period can update. Very ordinary information requests.
