Please advise me on this guys

If you like living with your spouse you should definitely wait. If you apply alone you are definitely looking theoretically at a minimum of 1 year apart and in reality close to 2 or more years given current trends.

If your score was 450’s I would say take the risk if you are desperate to move to Canada. At 468 it should be an eventuality sometime to get ITA.

GUYS,
I think people like us, who have CRS below 470 should start looking alternatives. WHY???

1. If you observe draws from Oct 2nd till now, it can be seen that around 2500 candidates with CRS 470 and above enter into the pool every two weeks, CONSISTENTLY. Also, around 800 PNP candidates with CRS 600+ enter into the pool. So, the total of people with CRS 470 to 1200 every two weeks is around 3300. In my view, IRCC will conduct two draws every week with invitations ranging between 3300 to 3600 in 2020. That means only new candidates with 470+ will be selected. By the way, I am not even considering the growth trend in the pool. On August, only 1500 people with 470+ used to enter the pool, and in October it was 2500. What if around 3000 people with CRS 470 to 600 enter into the pool. That's scary.

2. In order for CRS to go down by 1 point each, IRCC has to conduct draws with at least 3600 invitations. Invitations of 3900 might take the cut-off down by 2 points, but this seems highly unlikely.

3. So guys, if there is no back to back draw this month, I bet CRS will never come below 470. Plus, the backlog of candidates with CRS 470 and below is steeply rising.

Please explore whatever option is left with you, and do it fast(DON'T WAIT). Just don't sit idle. I myself have CRS of 465 and with IELTS could improve to 474 with CLB 10 in all four modules, which is going to be extremely tough, and I'm not even talking about the pain of spending thousands of rupees to take IELTS. Let's be hopeful, and work our ass off to get the CRS above 470. Good luck guys!
This was very clear back in May...

I was in the range of 450s and I expected the score to go up into the space. So I didn't waste anytime and took IELTS again in July. Got ITA right after receiving my results and got my PR now.

People really need to see into the future, not just hoping history would just repeat itself.

If CLB9999 is what keeping you from getting 470+, go retake that goddamn IELTS instead of whining here. If you say that's impossible, then your Canada dream is just day dreaming.

you should ask your spouse.

Jeez what a crazy spike 2019 had.... It was stable for the entirety of 2018... Very unsettling but I believe 2020 will be a stable year.. It will not fluctuate more than 10 points increase or decrease.
LOL what the heck are you saying?

I saw a spike of 900 in 2018. In 2019 I only see stable increase. I would say 2019 is much more stable than 2018. 2020 would just be the same as 2019, stable increase throughout the year.

It's becoming a common knowledge to temporary workers in US that getting Canada PR is much easier than waiting for their H1B in US, not to mention PR in US. How do you think those highly educated and skilled workers applying to Canada EE going to affect the score? Well you've been observing it since mid-year this year. The score will only slowly creep upwards.

Me too. Some people's thoughts are quiet entertaining. I'm glad I only started browsing this forum after my immigration is settled. It's fun to watch people day dreaming.
