Can someone be advise me on CoPR? When do you receive this and does everyone need this in order to fly to Canada with the stamped passport? Thank you

I sent an Email out to London VO this morning and got the below reply..
Greetings from London,
Thank you for your email. We have received your documents and they have been placed on file. The application is in active process and the file is currently in a queue with a visa officer for review. We will be in touch as soon as there is an update on the file.
Is this a generic reply?? reason why I ask is coz I sent the Email out this morning when the London visa is closed (night time in London)
and received a reply in 1 hour which I find odd.

We are still waiting too .. London’s visa office We started in Jan 21st
we started 18 jan,London office, got pre-arrival letter today.
Congratulations. .. mine transferred to London’s VO on Oct 3 .. and they started processing in Oct 4 .. biometrics request on Nov 11th , and bio completed in DEC 5th .. then no update
what was your timelines?
Applied 18 jan,medical done july, Applied for csq, transferred to london on 12 August, applied in August for csq( still waiting for csq) bio done October.7 nov request for police certificate additional.
Yes. Those are approved in March 2019. File transferred to Mexico in October and nothing since.
COPR is confirmation of permanent residence and it's mandatory to have it at the moment of landing. It's the only way for you to become a PR.
If you're from a visa-exempt country, CIC will send COPR to PA's mailing address. If you need a visa to travel to Canada, you'll get PPR, send your passport to the required VO and then COPR will be issued to you along with the visa and will be sent to you back with your passport.
