Hi guys,

It is a long journey and takes almost 390 days. I and my wife got PPR golden mail today.
Big thanks for everyone shares information in this forum.

Timeline:
My information:
Under CEC.
2 people
Visa office: Calgary

AOR: Sept 23, 2018
Medical Passed: Oct 18, 2018
Background check: Feb 2019
No updated until Oct 15, 2019.
On Oct 15, 2019, the page updated the medical passed on that date.
PPR: Oct 16, 2019.

Notes:
1. I tried to order a GCMS note in April 2019, but I never received it.
2. I called 5 or 6 times to speak an agent. The answer always the same. The case was under background checking. The others are passed. Please be patient.
3. I contacted a member of parliament to follow up on my case 4 months ago. I got the email that mentions the possible time to finalize the case will be Oct 2019.

Life is so tough. Waiting for one year makes me crazy. But never loss hope, and you will receive your golden mail soon. Thanks.
I have also update on my cic file, Medical Passed on this date. It appered this week and nothing else.
Inland Applicant 13.5 Months

A ghost update is a good indicator that your file has been opened by someone. Were you aware of your Eligibility, Criminality, or Security status? One of these has changed recently, which is why the ghost update. You should call IRCC and confirm too. All the best!

Thank you so much. I am 15th Oct QC inland spousal applicant and AOR is 13th of Nov 2018. According to IRCC , all is done except DM and file looks perfect.
They only recommend me to wait. They added , I am in the quee for DM.
Medical was passed in Jan , and this update is not appeared on steps, it is appeared on the explanation; your file takes longer... Last Update ,Medical is passed on this date , st like that

I also check other applicants timeline and generally observed that, September, October applicants start to get result.
Should I grow hopes?

I would say be glad that you have seen some movement on your file. I am not sure what you should expect here onwards. It would have been helpful if the system was more transparent. If you really like a status update, ask for GCMS (unfortunately, they are taking longer than 30 days too nowadays).

Any idea what should i expect in this current situation....

After everything is passed, and all the fee is paid, a final review is done and it is at that stage the officer will made a determination to either extend your medicals or ask for a re-med. After the final review it can take 3-7 weeks for the PPR to be sent.
