True. However we try its hard to be patient.I think this is tye toughest patience test in my life.I feel like yelling please send ppr soon:)
I know the feeling :) and I can relate to it.

The only thing you can do is to distract yourself with other things in your life, and try not to think about the PPR or even Canada at all...I know it's easier said than done.

All the best.

Hi Everyone,

#######Got the Passport Request#####
I am posting this timeline to encourage someone just as I have been encouraged by the various posts of others (I was really concerned after my timeline passed):

Country of origin: India
AOR: 14th May
Bio: July
Ghost Update : None
VO : Ottawa
PPR mail: 19th Nov
One applicant + One dependant.

My 6 month timeline passed last week and I raised IRCC request on monday (18th nov). Called helpline yesterday and they told decision is made and it's positive. I got email after few hours. :)

My online application is not updated like many in the thread mentioned,

I really pray for others especially for the long overdue PPRs to come before the end of this week..

Good luck guys...

Hi, my AOR is May 15th.
Contacted CIC and they came up with the reply that my file is in queue for review by visa officer. And no information about eligibility or criminality check.

Does anyone know what this means?
Crossed 6 months mark last 15th.

I was wondering if there are a lot of folks waiting for their PR if they are Indian citizens and living & working in a different country. Does that make their profile a little bit complex than someone living and applying from their Home country?

My 6 months completed in 8th Nov and no updates. Raised a web form and was told its still in process.

Indian Citizen living and working in the US. I honestly thought my application would be fairly easy to process as I studied in the US and live in Seattle and visit Vancouver on a regular basis so have a perpetual Canadian tourist visa. But I completed my 6 months on Nov 14th and have no new update so obviously that isn't the case. I know of people who live and work in Canada and haven't got their PPR in 6 months either. Anyways - there could be any number of reasons your application is delayed including volume, which visa office is processing your application, your travel history etc etc. I don't think we will ever know the specific reason. All we can do is wait.
