Hi Experts,

Which case will be more beneficial in process of getting PR and how?
  • Move to Canada from India on deputation for couple of years on closed work permit.
  • Getting job offer directly from Canadian employer having HQ in Canada.
Are there any difference in CRS scoring criteria in both of these cases.

Thanks,

Others can comment but the odds of getting any job offer from outside of Canada are slim given employers are reluctant to sPonsor an LMIA.

obviously if you can get a one year Canadian work experience is either scenario then that could be of benefit

good luck

- Deputation means moving on an ICT visa. For CRS, this means you must work in Canada for a full year before you can claim job offer points.
- Direct hire means your employer must obtain an approved LMIA. For CRS, this means you can claim job offer points immediately. However LMIAs are next to impossible to get.
