Pharmacist and MBA

hi to all,
I’m pharmacist from Pakistan.After evaluation By ECA through PEBC, score May reaches to 444 which isn’t sufficient.So, I’ve planned to start MBA from UK.My question is will MBA be separately evaluated and summed to my crs or I’m just trying to waste my time and money on MBA.

Would also be planning on whether the MBA will actually help your career before spending all sorts of money. Is it online? Would do an MBA in Canada if you want it to help your longterm career aspirations in Canada. There is a surplus of pharmacists in Canada and salaries are decreasing (internet salary rates are extremely inflated) so you would be much better off doing a degree from a reputable Canadian university.

you know education is quiet expensive in Canada for overseas w.r.t to UK,However,if we compare pharmacist salaries of uk and canada i think Canada out weigh the uk.
its not online I have to attend classes with part time job to meet my expenses.Please advise me should i go for MBA(just to increase my crs score) or dragging my score to 445-450 and wait for draw.

Salary for pharmacists are no where near what is posted on the internet. Currently the hourly rate in for community pharmacists in the GTA is $32-35/hr although there is a rare $40/hr once in a while. Most are working at a few stores and the chances of getting a raise and may not have benefits. Then you have to pay taxes. I see the posted salary rate is 80-100k and that is definitely no longer the case for community and hospital pharmacists. Hospital pharmacists are actually making g more than community these days which was unheard of 10 years ago. If you are going to do an online MBA from a random UK school while in your home country I would just do an MBA from a top school in your home country. Not trying to be negative just want to give you a realistic picture of the pharmacy employment situation
