Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

Maybe CIC has "sent out" our passports as well? Honestly I'm a little bit worried given @Kittyy 's atrocious post-PPR experience.

Is there another goof up like they had for incoming passports at around 20th Sep? Or maybe the person who is actually supposed to process the "sending" took vacation days and will resume today.

I strongly feel that CIC has a post office within which processes the mail for them.

My work permit expire next month if i dont activate my pr before i need to apply for a new one im just so nervous now because its weird i called cic and canada post twice this morning they both said they dont have my passport so who the hell have it ? The agent told me that i shouldnt worry until friday . but shae said that it might be something in canadapost i will try to call again canada post head office in ottawa and check with them otherwise ill wait till friday and send a web form

They told me same thing that they have sent passport at Canada post for address verification, when I called Canada post they said they have not received it yet , from last week I am calling both CIC and canada post but did not get reasonable reply , my visa is also expiring on Nov 14, 2019 , just hoping for good , but my partner said last year in December he received his passport back after 20 days of visa stamping

Friends, anybody here sent passport between September 20-26 and no status change yet ? My passport was received by ircc on 26 Sept but till date no update .. thanks

Open work permit application process outside canada,
PPR 23 September
Passport recieved at CPP ottawa 26 September
Approved on online status changed 4 October
Still waiting for return tracker , not activated yet
Call CIC yesterday and again today ,ircc agent told it has been send to canada post for address verification, don't know what are they doing , my address is right ,don't know why they send it for verification to canada post and how long it will take

Finally..i was reading an article today where IRCC and Canada Post lost one person's passport. And he cannot get new passport because Venezuela govt had failed. It was scary.

Congrats, I just checked mine but it still same not activated yet, I hope it will activate soon now

I called them last friday they said they havenot sent my passport for printing...i hope we will get approval this week
