Starting to curse my luck. My application is over 8 months old and I’ve been on Recommend pass (RP) for well over 2 months (everyone else with RP appears to have gotten PPR but not me). It’s been radio silence from IRCC since I passed my medicals and it’s driving me mad. Sorry for venting on here, today has been especially tough for me.

Congratulations to everyone who has received PPR and God speed to the rest of us
I can feel your pain. God is faithful. We will receive PPR soon.

Hey Guys..

Got an update today. When I logged on to my profile I saw Application updated and then I saw Review of Additional Documents changed from "We are reviewing....." to "Not Applicable". Is it a GU?

My timelines are:

AOR: Feb 1
VO: Montreal
Last time when I called, I got to know below:
Criminality: In Progress
Eligibility: RR
Security: NS
I think this is progress (i.e. they've accepted the additional documents), but the Ghost Update means that it looks like there's an update, but when you open your account there's no change at all. I had to submit PCCs as Additional Documents, because the countries needed specific request letters from the IRCC. So, I got the request and submitted these around the time I got the biometrics request. They stayed as under review for quite a while, but changed to not applicable shortly before I got my PPR - so I think you can be cautiously optimistic.

All the best.

Yes, ghost update! :)

When was the last time you called and got the Eligibility RR? Do you know why RR?
I had been calling like every two weeks and somewhere in early September I came to know about RR. All this while I had been hearinf that Eligibility wasnt started.

I called today again and the agent told me that the application is approved and I should wait for further instructions. Hoping it should be quick from here.

Hi guys,

Finally got PR landing email after 247 days
CEC INLAND
Aor: 3 Feb
VO: Montreal
Medicals: 19 March
Nothing after that
Ordered GCMS notes twice
Just got the second GCMS notes today, nothing changed in that
And then got landing email 3 hours later..

Finally this painful journey ended!!
Congratulations!

Mine is also Montreal Visa office and AOR is 01st Feb, 2019 with Category : CEC Inland.

Eligibility : Review required (24th Sept, 2019)
Criminality : Passed
Security : Not Started

What I have observed is most of us get PPR right after they send the GCMS notes as it happened to you.

I ordered my 1st GCMS on 04th July, 2019 and I got it on 12th September, 2019 followed by ADR after 2 hours on the same day that shows that they take our file before sending GCMS.

So I ordered another one on 01st October, 2019 and hoping that it triggers them to take a decision on or before 01st November, 2019.

I might be wrong but I think my predictions on GCMS and they taking up our file is somewhat right.

Guys please share your thoughts on this.

Hope we all get PPR soon.

You are right. I once ordered GCMS notes and the following day after ordering it my file got updated so I believe that sometimes ordering GCMS notes helps move your file forward.

Its been real guys. This platform helped me alot. Here's is my timeline
Fsw- inland- 1 year work experience
Feb 2nd-AOR
March 15- MEP
Didn't hear anything for a while
Called and they kept saying application processing.
Ordered GCSM notes Jul 3 never heard back
July 10 eligibility became RR, security &criminality ,
not webformstarted.
Raised- got usually response that isn't helpful. Never got any notes so didn't know why RR
September 17- application approved
September 18th- called and was told approved and would likely get an in person interview as I had valid visa and there was alot of backlog and an interview is easiest for them.
September 18th-GU
October 3- raised another webform at like 3pm.
October 3- at 5ish pm got email for landing interview for Oct 10
October 10- COPR
VO- Montreal
I never got a counterfoil and I'm not from a visa exempt country.

Good luck to all! Hopefully our paths cross in Canada

2nd GCMS notes were received today but generated a month ago.
Eligibility: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Security: not started.
I got the email and then noticed a ghost update in my account.
Do you think the ghost update is related to the email you received?
