Sa BPI, no need na meron dollar account. You can just buy foreign currency using your peso account.

Hi @Anyw, as far as I know, fund transfer should be from a dollar account if the currency is in dollars at BDO. Also, CIBC does not have an option for our local currency yet.

Thank you for your reply...so, dapat po ba na may account kami with BPI?
I'm not sure if you need to have an account with them. I used my account kasi, didn't ask how it works if for a non-account holder. You might want to check with them nalang.

But even as an account holder, I have an option to buy the dollars in cash, not debit from my account. So it may be possible for non-account holders to buy dollars from them.

Hi Perlie, thanks for your reply...did you use CIBC as your bank for your GIC?
Yes maam, after some research and based on the forums i read as well, they recommend CIBC.
I was also quite OC when I did the wire transfer at BDO. I kept reminding the teller to make sure that all details are correct when they did the transaction. Although, I read that CIBC is not as strict with the details compared to Scotiabank and they don't charge the additional CAD$200.

Here! I was refused once because of this but we reapplied with the same program and got accepted after revising my SOP. FYI, I have a degree in HRM and applied for the Hotel Operations Management program at Centennial College, Post secondary.

Hi guys pa help po.. my suggestion po ba kayo kng saan mura makakakuha ng ticket manila to toronto?thanks
Check online for flights to Toronto. You can check for multiple airline companies and compare airfares.
Philippine Airlines has a direct flight. Korean has a flight with layover in Incheon airport and cheaper than PAL. Cathay Pacific I think also has flights but more expensive than the 2,
