Hey guys, I sent my application for my parents June 12th, 2019 and I haven't receive the AoR, I did not pay for tracking so I'm not sure if they actually got my documents so I'm a little worry. I received the invitation letter to apply on June 25th and my documents probably arrived June 14-15. I live in Milton and I think my processing center is Mississauga and reading some post, it looks that office is very slow. My parents are from Venezuela. Please add the to the Google docs if you like. I'll update as soon I get any info about my case.

The invitation date must be Apr. 25 right?

I called their number on the website and requested for an appointment. But the operator was unable to book an appointment, kept on saying their system is down & they don't have any workaround. Cant take any appointment until they fix their issue.

Next day, my mom went to the VFS in person without an apportionment to check if they can help. After bargaining with them, they took her phone number and called her next day to do her bio-metric. I found their service very poor. For a simple bio-metric my mom had to go to VFS 3 times and wasting her 10+ hrs.

Sorry to hear that you have to go through this. Can you please share the phone number you called to take bio-metric appointment? Good luck with next step.

What is your app received date? If it's after June 10th, you still have to wait.

No I didn't. Does it impact the application? Application receive date is May 24th.

I just check my cic account and they asking for medical exam.

Now question to people who did it. Can you do it at any aproved docs even if they don’t speak your language? Can you accompany your parents there as a translator?
