Yeaaa it’s difficult being away. At least you were able to travel though. They denied my husband a visitor’s visa 4 times because they said they’re not sure if he’s going to return to Jamaica. So this sponsorship is our only option.

Yeah It’s hard being apart and the silence from kvo/ircc makes it that much worse. I wish they could give regular updates on our files or at least give accurate processing times for each visa office instead of the general meaningless 12 month timeline
When I ordered my notes it indicated my app is in queue for interview. This was back mid-August, just wish they would communicate a date already!
So sorry to hear that but I got my visiting visa from last year it cost me like a $100 online but I also was working on work permits for a couple of years so I was in and out of the country since 2014. I hope things will be completed soon so you can be with your husband.
I ordered notes again mid-September... hoping there’s some update in them especially if we don’t hear from kvo by then
I didn't bother, in my head I thought I would have heard from them before I got the notes again but it doesnt look that way - wish I would have ordered another set!
On our letter requesting another Police Certificate, I noticed that the UCI was different, but the file number was the same. I wondered if the changed UCI number was an error, but I read another post where someone mentioned that their UCI had changed on some correspondence.
Did you happen to notice if your UCI was the same or changed on you letter requesting a new Police Check?
The PA and the sponsor have different UCI #’s so maybe double check that. Depending on who the correspondence is addressed to it’ll have a diff uci at the top but file number will be the same
I was reading 2017 application and the was two app that call called in for an interview in Nov but couldn't get there passport until Jan, I hope that don't happen to any of us. I am getting stressed out its making me sick, I hope to hear something soon. It's been a long time since I heard from kvo
Yessss I read that too that KVO had reached their visa allotment limit for the year so they had to wait til the new year started. I really hope that doesnt happen this year!
When did they ask for another police check, mines expired end of Aug. They haven't asked me for another one yet.
I received a email from kvo today to send biometric receipt. I don't know why and I have already submit it to cic from in July and they said that they reduce it and it is sent to the responsible . Has this happen to anyone else?
