congratulations to all who receive ppr today!!

I have one query if anyone can help plz...in my gcms notes I see that my change of name affidavit and birth certificate is set for review.
what could be the reason? I have 2 first names and then surname.
My surname was changed after marriage.but birth certificate mentions only 1 first name
all other documents like degrees, marriage certificate, passport mentions both first names.

Thank you for the response. I agree, the better thing to do now would be to get my passport renewed. I'll respond to their PoF request in the meantime and then send over new passport info when I have it. I did actually get upfront medical but myCIC says Medical Passed on March 6. AOR: Jan 24. Is the CoPR date usually within a couple of months or approval or like even 6 months? Either way thanks a ton!
If your medical is passed. You are done with medical. There is no accurate information about COPR landing date but i believe it would be couple months or 3 at max and not 6months or so. :)

Is anyone else having trouble logging into IRCC website? It's very slow, and I can't log in due to "bad gateway"

Thanks Tanu912. Is there a major difference between Procedural Fairness Letter and ADR/RR? I'll be able to show more funds and will submit all documents soon. I would still need to submit the letter highlighting outstanding student loan. Not sure what could be a logical explanation here that this is a monthly payment I make but has no bearing on my liquidity? Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated. However, i'll def make sure the total funds I show would be enough even if they deduct entire outstanding student loan from it.
Also, people suggested here that I also renew my passport proactively (expiring April 2020) to avoid any more delays. Would you recommend this too? It'll likely come in 4-6 weeks from now and I'll have to send a webform for this update then. Do you think it would further delay/impact the processing? THANKS AGAIN!

I suggest you to read about procedural fairness letter. You will get a clarity

Hi,

Did anyone have to step out of Canada for biometrics?
Yes I did. Back in March I did biometrics in Mexico city as I was there on a business trip.
If you have US visitor visa, you can go there as well. There is a center just across the border in Buffalo.

Good day,

I just got our passports back and COPR. I noticed the pictures of my 2 daughters were mixed up on the COPR form. They look alike a bit but one is younger and their names are at the back so this should not have happened. I raise CSE and sent a mail to my VO which is Ottawa but no response yet. Does it matter if we travel with it like this? Anyone here with similar experience?

@santab and @Doom__V
Thanks a lot.
I am in Canada on a TRV and I have just been asked to go for biometrics. I applied Outland.

I have never been to Mexico and I am just a bit worried.
Can I state to their immigration at the port of entry that I am just there for biometrics. As my plan is to return as soon as I am done.
I also have the fear of being allowed back to Canada when I step out.

I have a US citizenship but I don’t want to go there for the biometrics due to family and ex-husband issues.
