Omg that would make me sooooo mad. Well good thing is when my husband put in his passport in Santo Domingo they said his photos were not good so he had to go get new ones before he sent. I hope they knew what they were talking about.

Both my brother and father have had Canada passport pictures rejected because they claimed the photos held the hint of a smile lol

That's weird, I'm from El Salvador and I just sent one and they never request another one even though I knew that was already expired when my files was transferred to mx

I thought it was weird too, they want us to mail the original documents to Mexico too which is odd. I don’t know why they’re so inconsistent but we want to get this over with so we’re just gonna have to send another one

Did anybody else received a request for an updated Schedule A?
We submitted one on the original application, but they just asked us for details of my wife's activity after the application was sent. Hoping that's a good sign.

Did they only ask her to add her activity since the application was sent?

Yes I sent it through the VAC offices and gckeys is already updated with my passport number and the address that k sent on online services

When was your gckey updated with the counterfoil number? Ours was delivered and signed sept 4th, nothing on gckey yet.

Yeah they asked for a new Schedule A, and were specific about activities since the time we had sent ours before, meaning they wanted to know what she has been up to I assume.

Does anyone know if an interview is requested in another country how long do you have to stay in that country for? is it 1 day process/ few hours and then you can leave or are you required to stay longer?

The interview is done the day they ask to applicant to be there , however if the applicant is travelling to a country outside of theirs for the interview I would book 2 days just in case . I don’t know specifics but that’s what I would do

My application already passed the 18 months in federal stage for paper based outland. I am from Brazil and my application was sent to Mecxico VO. Damn.
So, what happens now? Is there another time to this be completed? Or now it could be done forever ?
I ordered gcms in july (16 months in) and they didn't start the criminality and security. Mp was in 31st May. Then, 21st Aug they asked for proof of funds. They received and now silence.

Do you think this election is affecting our applications? If yes is totally unfair.
Another thing, my gckey and ecas are frozen nothing changed at all. If is updated then they didn't start my background check. What mess. I feel so angry.

My gckey has not changed since April . They are so understaffed it’s not funny .
I don’t know if the elections effect applications , but I can’t see everything stopping . My mp and his office are useless and just want to focus on getting re elected I suppose lol

I did twice.
One on 27th August and other on 16th September when the time ended.

I’m waiting for mine to come in .... I doubt I will get them in 39 days as that has never happened , hoping to see why we are over a year . Last set of notes showed absolutely nothing moving

I ordered my notes July 16 and still have not received and when I emailed to ask what happened said they are behind and cannot guarantee when I will get them.
