Hi everyone, I recently joined this forum, can someone guide me.
I am applying for caregiver under HCCP, NOC 4411 online. Is it must to apply for APR along with it. I checked on site and it is written that if I submit only application for work permit as caregiver and not an application for APR they would send back my case.

Is PCC and registered myarriage certificate be attested by Ministry of External Affairs at the time of submitting all these for work permit + PR under (NOC 4411)

I am in process of collecting my documents (ECA etc.) and will apply before end of this year.

Does anyone know whats the processing time for getting the work permit? I checked CIC website it shows overall it may take 12 months to process complete application (work permit + PR application) but i assume work permit will be issued earlier.

I submitted it july 23rd, they received it same day. As per AOR, it states there it was received July 25th. AoR and biometrics request was received August 31st. Applicant is scheduled to go for biometrics on September 10.

I'm assuming once they have checked that applicant is qualified to be a PR, they would issue work permit. I really hope it would be sooner than months.

Can anyone help/explain me with the following question on job offer form
Section 8: Work Schedule and Wages

To be completed by the employer

Question 2

Tell us how many hours each day and each week the employee will work.

· Select “yes” or “no” to tell us if the employee will have irregular work hours.

· If you select “yes”, provide us the details of the work schedule

Working hour in my job contract is 7-10am and 3-7.30pm which is 7.30 hours Monday-Friday. Do that falls under irregular work hours?

Please confirm me if the following information is correct as I don't live in Canada I need to know my rights. According to Ontario Employment Standard Act paid annual leave is 10 days and sick leave is 3 days and if not taken annual leave will be paid out as 4% of the gross annual income.
