So this may sound absurd, Apologies.
what if we all stop contacting IRCC completely ( except for ADR and important clarifications, RR). No updates, follow ups, reminders, verifications nothing. Clearly, following up is not working (exceptions). why don't leave them clueless as they have done to us.
I know it's not achievable, just a thought..
Nice thought but won't work.

They have every clue about your and Family's existence and they are verifying that in the process of giving you the PR.

If you stop following up on status, I am sure they would be happy.

I called helpline after a week today and a very kind agent answered the call. He told that my file is in queue for review by an officer (CB01126 ) since 26 April. The last update was on 26th April (RPRF was added to the file which I paid on 5th April).

The agent said that he can’t send a reminder to officer even though it has crossed 7 month time today!! The application will be picked when it reaches in the queue but there is no clarity on how many applications are there before me or any tentative time by which it could be picked.

He also suggested that calling helpline is of no use. If there is any change, it will reflect in online account.

This is now a dead end and I can’t see any way forward...
you can search the forum for that CB01126, a lot of us are stucking with them.

No ADR? Did you call IRCC often? Or email Goodale?

Guys, I received PPR today! Got a mail at 9:47AM London time that my application has been updated. I logged in to find a passport request letter waiting for me :D When my application clocked 7 months, I was so down and frustrated. It is such a relief to be able to move on with my life.
ITA: 09/01/19
AOR: 28/01/19
MEP/BIL: 13/02/19
Biometrics: 14/02/19
Called IRCC for update: 08/05/19 (no update because file transferred to London VO)
RPRF: 08/05/19 (Got tired of waiting and paid RPRF, hoping it would kick-start progress on file, I don't think it worked)
GCMS requested: 14/05/19
GCMS received: 14/06/19 (Criminality passed, Info Sharing complete, Eligibility & Security not started)
Emailed Ralph: 30/07/19 (he replied within 5 hours - Criminality, Eligibility & Security passed, awaiting final review and decision)
Ghost Update: 31/07/2019 (Emailed London VO same day, no response)
Called CIC: 09/08/2019 (same update as Ralph)
Sent CSE to London VO: 14/08/2019 (No response)
PPR: 30/08/2019
AOR to PPR: 7 months + 2 days
I pray that everyone waiting gets positive news soonest. Cheers!

No ADR.. I was asked for a schedule A form in march.. and I wrote to Goodale once on 20th August. I was informed all my assessments were passed and file was awaiting a final decision. a couple of days after that I made my first call to IRCC and was told that the agent can't tell me anything nor did she agree to send a reminder. I did raise a couple of webfors after 30th July but I didn't receive a reply to anyone of those except one generic email saying that my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned visa office. And

Called IRCC for the first time today. Nice agent but not really anything new. However did mention they saw my web inquiry 10 days ago and it was forward to Sydney office, and that office will take 30 days to reply ( also no guarantee reply). Can't send a reminder since it's the same thing as web inquiry.

Hi all,
I am confronting another issue that has given me sleepless nights. Finally after 7 months I received msg to new passport and biometric instruction letter for me and my spouse but again
My husband gave the biometric but vfs people refused to take my biometric for the name change in my new passport (surname change after marriage) and biometric with old surname( before marriage)
Cic asked to upload new passport and then sent me the biometric letter but with old name..
I am worried what to do. As vfs people suggested to write to Canada high commission and request to issue a new letter with updated name but it's been more than a week and I hvnt received any response from them.
Kindly suggest what to do??

Hey guys,

My application is now 7 months and no update.
So I called ircc today and the agent mentioned
My eligibility is met and criminality is done, security is not started.

Is eligibility met the final status for eligibility? Does this mean my noc and job letter verification was okay?.

Thank You

Hi all,

Just sharing my dates and observations with you all now that my Cic account is updated ..

16th and 18th July were the dates I got my two GHost updates.. according to my application, my background check which includes criminality and security was completed on the 18th of July, but I think they only refer to the criminality here which might have been completed on the 18th of July. The security check probably started on the same day as 18th of July and took roughly 44 days.

The 16th of July GU was for the eligibility as far as I can understand.. they gave me a recommended pass on the same day maybe .

moving on, only after my security check came clean, they would have looked at and confirmed my eligibility as pass on the 22nd of August.

I got the PPR email the same night on the 22nd of August.

I submitted by passport on the 25th of August and today, on the day of my 32nd Birthday (30th August) my application got approved / closed and my passport got stamped along with the issuance of my COPR .. I have to enter Canada by 7th of Dec 2019

The above timelines are only my observations and might not be the same for everyone .. or could be complete bollucks for all I know :)

But I hope it helps you’ll get some more clarity ..

Thanks again for all the warm and positive wishes !

Love, Rushi
Happy journey bro and Belated Happy birthday, Wish you a great life ahead in Canada :) I am landing in Toronto on December 4 th :) When are you planning to land and where ?

Call again and see if the new agent can place the reminder or not as your 6 months deadline has completed ? If he doesn’t agree, ask the reason politely or is there already a reminder sent earlier which is stopping him to raise a new one ? do check.

So, I called IRCC back the day I joined the alleged 20%, and the agent told me that she would send a reminder to CPC-Ottawa. A couple of days later I got an e-mail stating "Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications."

Yesterday I called IRCC to see if someone perhaps dusted my application off to start working on it, but the agent again said that nothing had changed and that she'd send another reminder to IRCC, and I have just gotten their reply, and it reads: "Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer."

There's a clear difference between these two messages and it made slightly hopeful, but we all know what IRCC is like. What do you guys think, am I reading too much into this?

EDIT: I should also point out that in both calls the only things reported as complete are Criminality and Medicals. Eligibility and Security were said to be not started. According to my GCMS notes from May, Info Sharing was still in progress although this never came up during any call.
Exactly after couple of days from such reply from CPC Ottawa I got a Ghost update and the very next day I received the PPR :) Wish you PPR soon :)

Visa Office......
Montreal
Many many happy returns of the day @rushi.gada brother!

Your footprints in the group works wonders for all of us and gives us hope.

@rushi.gada @vinayk & the experts please help me with the below concern so I can sleep peacefully.

So I resigned from my job on 12th August, 2019 on an immediate effect due to mental abuse by my boss.

I was on a closed work permit + lmia.

My visa expires on 12th Jan, 2020

I am awaiting PPR but wanted to start working legally till I officially get a mail.

So called CIC and found out about this new visa category called “VULNERABLE URGENT OPEN WORK PERMIT” in which they call you for an interview in 5 days to explain yourself about the mental abuse.

I went for an interview today where told the officer about the mental torture and the duties that I did for my boss which were not related to my NOC.

Officer told me that they will get back to me with the decision in an mail.

Interview went for hour and a half.

After I was done and I came out it ring a bell to me that I told the officer that my manager didnt let me do the duties what they hired me for but will that have an adverse effect on my ongoing PR file in which I have claimed this experience.

Draw : 443
My score : 497
Category: CEC Inland
Assume : They link todays statement to my PR application and take off 50 points thinking that I didnt perform as per my NOC. I still end on 447.

OVERTHINKING!!!

I am assuming I am still safe but not sure.

Category : CEC Inland
AOR : 1st Feb, 2019
Medicals : Passed
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not started
Eligibility: Not started
Reminder sent : 21st August, 2019
Reply came : Please be informed that the file is in the que for review by an officer.

Please advise @rushi.gada @vinayk @legalfalcon @cansha with your expertise and knowledge whether my todays interview of Urgent Open Work Permit will have any impact on my ongoing CEC PR file.

Completing : 7 months today

Awaiting your reply on this.

Please & Thank You!
