I got my PPR!
AOR - 23rd May 2019
MEP - 7th July 2019
PPR - 26th Aug 2019

There was absolutely no communication from IRCC b/w MEP and PPR.
All the best to all.
Congrats! Do you know where is your V.O.?

Also, are you saying there was no Ghost updates ever (ie. Status has not changed from "Submitted")?

Hi Guys,

I am new to this website and was wondering if someone could provide some guidance:
AOR: May 16, FSW-Inland
Medical: June 27, Background status changed to:We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
RCMP request: June 27, Submitted July 17
Since then I have not received any updates or inquiries. I emailed Ralph Goodale office and got following response:

I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received May 16, 2019. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.
Standard processing time is 22 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Eligibility is met.
Criminality is in progress.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until May 2020.

What concern me the most is that, they said standard processing time is 22 months. Does anyone else have such experience?

Hi.. I think it must be a mistake. You can call IRCC directly and talk to the agent but I honestly believe it’s a mistake.
Also, now you have me worried because I was also asked for RCMP. Anyways keep us updated. Good luck.

I will call CIC for the first time tomorrow about my status and I am a bit nervous to talk to a real person like this.

Anyone who is successful to get your VO office, eligibility or criminal/security status, can you kindly share how you ask the agent? (any scripts and tips etc)
I want to avoid any general response like checking online etc

Ps: I order GCMS last week

I replied to Ralph Goodale's office yesterday but wasnt expecting a follow up. They responded to me about 15 minutes ago, confirming that it was a typo and that the correct time is 6 months.

When I contacted them, the agent asked me what I would like to know exactly and I requested her to confirm the status for VO office, eligibility or criminal/security status. After a couple of minute wait, she gave me answer for each.
