Hello All,
Got my PPR yesterday. Please see my timeline below.

CEC Inland, CPC Edmonton

AOR - March 5th
MEP Pass - April 14th
ADR (Custody doc) - April 17th, submitted 23rd
Eligibility Review Required (April 25th,Foreign Experience) - Found out via GCMS note on 15th July.
Sent revised letters via web form (added job duties) - 23rd July
Sent new born passport and birth certificate via web form - 30th July
Ordered second GCMS note - 9th August
MEP Pass - Changed to 19th Aug
Call center confirmed application approved - 20th Aug
PPR - 21st August.

Thank God the wait is now over, wish everyone everyone success.
Congratulations!! I have a query regarding the RPRF (Right of PR fee) that everyone needs to pay for PR. I didn't pay RPRF fee upfront and I've not got any request for the fee payment from CIC yet. My medical was passed in April 2019. Does the request for RPRF come after PR mail? What can I expect first - RPRF request or PR mail? Generally, how much time CIC takes to request for RPRF? Also, please let me know whether we get RPRF request through message (in our account) or e-mail?
Thanks in advance.

We are in the same boat. I share the same timelines, and it's really frustrating to see the six months time frame inching towards the end.

Hi guys, here is my timeline:
AOR: 30 March
Medical Passed: 10 May
Biometrics: 16 May
no update since then

Ordered GCMS 1 July (knew it was too early, just wanted to know the visa office and how things are going)
Got GCMS: 6 August - criminality passed, eligibility and background check not started yet, visa office Ottawa

15 August: noticed that background check changed from "your application is in progress" to "we are processing your bg check", got excited, finally, at least something is happening!
19 August: called CIC, aaaand my excitement was gone. Agent said nothing started. She also mentioned that she only sees the same information as me on my CIC account!?! Arghh, what a waste of time :S

Patience is a virtue, but it's definitely not mine, it never was :) I try to keep myself busy, focus on my work, family, friends etc., meanwhile, in one dark, teeny corner of my mind I can't stop thinking of the weak points of the application and what could go wrong.

Keep your hopes up guys, may September bring PPR rain for us ;)

Yep, it's hard not to obsess about the app with all the uncertainty.
Can we reschedule the PPR rain for August? :D

Hi guys, has anyone with AOR date March 24 received PPR? I have not seen any update since my biometrics on 11 May. I never can seem to log on to my CiC account at one go, need to keep repeating the login till the page lands on T and C then back to cic.gc. Has anybody faced this issue? It is worrying me that I might miss a GU... wishful thinking

Hey so basically you have to pay RPRF ASAP as you don’t really get a request you just pay the total fee which includes RPRF when you submit the application.

You can check if it’s paid or not on your profile, but consultants won’t let you see your CIC profile:( Anyways just ask them lol. You won’t get passport request unless all the fees are paid, so don’t wait for their request just pay it.

So, i wrote to cic to find out my application status, (since VO in London, England didn’t bother replying to my email) and in return they said

“We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Furthermore, you have been selected to complete this survey conducted by the Client Experience Branch at IRCC. Information gathered via this survey will be compared to data gathered in previous years and will be used to guide future improvements.”

Is this only me or do you guys also get asked to fill up a survey? I find it weird that they are asking me to rate my experience while ignoring the query i made that specifically asked to be informed about a reliable way to reach London VO or know the status of my application since they didn’t reply
