I got a reply from Mr. Goodale's office that my eligibility and security has not yet started and I should request next update directly on Nov, 6th. I am upset beyond words. Here I was thinking it won't take longer than September and it's straight 2 months down.
There are people who get their PPR with AOR much later than mine Feb 13). It's not that I envy them, but my file has not been opened yet. It's ridiculous. Is it Becoz of my NOC, my country, work experience or what I look like in the picture!
You cannot talk to your family or friends( most of them don't understand what's the anxiety all about), its just these forums where one finds solace every morning and before bed. You barely scrape through a few days ( seeing few PPR'S and some still stuck with their last update) Until you get the next venting episode.
Sometimes, I wonder why am I putting myself through this.
I hope Canada is worth every bit.

Get knowledge of things and make them clear. Don't be boasting to everyone that you know everything and keep discouraging/disorienting good people waiting for their PPR by telling that they can be in SS.
Please stop. We all have enough stress already being over the initial deadline.
I concur. There is no mention from any individual about this SS. And I don't think there is any evidence about it. It's just you are stuck in a phase like for other it could be not started/ eligibility in progress for weeks. It doesn't imply anything except your day has not come.
And anyways we are no one to decide for someone's profile. Plus it's not that someone who doesn't have SS Will get PPR for sure.
Every individual feels their profile is simple and straightforward and they deserve PR more than the others.
Let's be positive and keep each other motivated even if u are the know all.
We look up to each other in these dark days.

We share the same AoR, Feb 13. I completely get you. At any social gathering, you will have people sidling up to you and like as if you are a part of a big conspiration, ask you " So what is the status of your Canada trip" "when will you be going" and then offer a plethora of unsolicited advice about how a friend of a friend, did what you are doing, and it was so cold, and they couldn't manage."
Hang in there. I have a RR on PoF, I've sent in an LoE. I hope it helps my application.
My mail to Ralph confirmed what I already know from a set of notes a month and a half old. My file has not been touched since the 26th of April when the case worked to put in a review required!
Stay strong, it will be worth it in the end. It's going to be hard, but worth it all.
Maybe they think you are too clean and therefore must be a spy. So you are under SS. Hehehe. You never know. (Maybe you are a spy, come to think of it

Oooh...I just got a ghost update! AoR 6 Feb. I tried logging in an hour ago and they were performing website maintenance, so I hope it's not just because of that lol
This is so true ... all of my colleagues and relatives have the same question for me almost every day, most of them wishing that I don’t receive the PR.
Somehow I am positive, it may take time but it will definitely come

They either want you to agree that going is a bad idea and you should just stay like everyone else, or should you not get going immediately why aren't you gone already if going is such a great idea? And the inevitable why not USA, Australia, UK, Mars I read somewhere that in such and such a place you get an ice cream cone every time you burp in public, 2 scoops if you accidentally break wind while sneezing anyway Trudeau sucks isn't he corrupt or something, everybody knows that the liberals are screwed in the next election? You'll get 1 million unwanted conversations about immigration with friends and family none of it accurate or helpful. It all just adds to the stress doesn't it? And its not like you told them anyway, you just told your mum/sister/buddy and the next thing you know your ex-girlfriend from high-school who dumped you for the basketball team captain (who later dumped her for someone else) is asking people whether they allow people as fat as you to immigrate isn't that weird don't they do medical or IQ tests, next they'll be giving passports to trained monkeys... Its a circus I tell you.
