Few more draws and we will know if CIC wants to keep higher score or not, As far as conservatives are concerned they are not going to make drastic change to EE, They will change asylum seekers term and will make EE process steady. They repeatedly said that they want process fair and clear. Having said that, what they meant was, 7000 qualified people waiting for their turn to come canada and 500 people just cross border illegally and get pr in two years is not fair. So this fear mongering is useless. eventually score will come down. By end of the year it should be 455 with b2b draw and 3900 its and something like last year in Jan or Feb will keep everything normal once again.
Humble request to those people who just pretending here that after october it will turn into US, Please dont do that.

Everybody just keep calm, Canada was/is/will be welcoming always.

My request to all the people who keep saying score won't come down 459 to please stop this. I stopped using this thread regularly from past few days because this is just too stressful. All these people think they are CIC and start saying whatever comes in their mind. Inspite knowing that these people don't know anything for sure, it still effect our feelings and optimisim in some way. Past few months have been really hard, especially for people with score 450-459.

So please only share your predictions and thoughts if you actually have a reason for them. Try to help each other out. Nobody knows what will happen in next few months. I totally agree that everyone have a right to share their views and thoughts but please share your views if they have atleast some reasoning or explanation attached to it. Also, some people say one thing first day and totally change second day; Be consistent. If you guys wanna keep demotivating people and hurting their feeling please make your own seperate thread. It is totally free. People who want to listen to you will come there.

Stuck at 458 now...will go for last IELTS this Sunday....if its not good....will convert to spouse non accompanying....no other option left.... all 3 of us are in toronto and have visa till July 2020....once my & kids PR is done...will sponsor spouse thereafter.....if required will send spouse back to home country. Cant wait more and take more stress. Already 35

I have noticed a variation in points calculation for IELTS on the crs tool. Speaking section now contains 7 and 7.5 - 9 slots, and if i opt for the latter slot, my overall score increase by 3 points. (current ielts score L8. 5 R7. 5 W and S7)
I don't know if anyone else has noticed that.

A back to back draw will happen before this year ends.

It doesn't make sense for CIC to artificially increase the score like many claim. Especially if they've decided to increase ITA's from 3300 to 3600. What exactly do they gain from "increasing the score"? Looks like there's just people with higher scores in the pool, unfortunately for many of us, but it is what it is.

I choose to remain hopeful.

They have been able to perpetrate fear and have compelled people to accept PNPs. Look at me for example, I was certain of outright ITA in 14 days at 448 and now I'm all gaga for getting a mere NOI and becoming a PNP applicant. CIC has ensured that even through PNPs people with higher CRS come through and more importantly, they would accept out of uncertainty and fear. This is my assessment.

I’m not sure you read my post well. I didn’t say change to accompanying spouse before OINP approval.

You can change to accompanying spouse after getting OINP nomination (after the 600 points must have been added to your scor) whether before ITA or after AOR as long as you have declared that you are married.There’s no way the score will go below the cut off if spouse is added to the application and it won’t be considered as misrepresentation.

One side you get Ontario NOI basis non-accompanying in your EE profile, on the other hand you’re saying once OINP application is approved, change to accompanying in EE.

Both of your applications (EE and OINP), should be synced, no changes should be made. Otherwise, will lead to misrepresentation.

If I go by your logic, then in that case, you’ll start adding other members too after 600 getting points.

^^ although this guy is clueless as to what misrepresentation means, adding spouse after oinp is sort of gaming the system and is unethical, but eh we are in a competitive world so who gives a shyt about ethics.

Getting an OINP nomination guarantees you an ITA.....outside of that..not much difference if you already planned to go there, you'd just have to wait longer for an ITA, especially if you have a sub 460 score.

Thanks for the response. I was anyways planning to go to Toronto. But, I read on a forum that you have to live in Ontario for at least 2years before you move to another province, if you are going via OINP. And that you might have to apply for different PR number once you complete 2years, which enables you to move anywhere in Canada. Is this true?

there is no rule that you have to stay in ontario if you get nominated. you can move if you tried for a job, cant find one in ontario and get an offer in another province. better have a good reason. the different PR number is Bvllshyt. nothing like that exists.
